It is in the middle of a resorting so a lot of boxes around but some interesting displays I liked the room displays which conveyed the contrasts between the rich and poor.

I like going to this historical society museum because you are able to go to the museum as well as the historical fort hall replica. This small museum tells the story of how life in Pocatello and the region around it was like. It is cool, it is good for the family. And best of all it isn't too expensive.

This little historic local treasure is worth a visit. Located next to the Fort Hall Replica in Pocatello's Upper Ross Park area, this museum has a bit of something to interest almost anyone. It houses exhibits, objects, and records relating to Bannock County and Pocatello's history. Exhibit themes include railroad history, early medical practices, general store, Victorian era parlor, Buddhist Shrine, early photography studio, Prohibition era police evidence, early fire-fighting, local printing history, historic ranching and farming tools, a Holladay Overland Stage Company stagecoach, horse tack, Shoshoni and Bannock ethnographic photographs and objects, local archaeological specimens, a unique donor wall, a research archive open to the public, and much more! Small gift shop with locally focused books for sale, too, and near other attractions like the local zoo.
