If you are in Capitol Reef it’s a nice stop to see the petroglyphs. Be sure to walk down the boardwalk to see more. You will need to look closely but they are fun to find. This is located on the main road through the park so it’s easy to stop and take a look.

Our first take on petroglyphs. You must look closely to see the first petrglyps, but when you get the gang of it you see many more. We will be on the lookout for more during our Utahstay

We first viewed the petroglyphs at sunset and they were spectactular. We could see all of them clearly with our eyes. We stopped during sunrise/early morning and they weren't as visible. This was definitely a highlight of our tour of the five national parks in Utah.

Cool to see these right off the road and learn a little history in the process and about the FRemont indians that were before the Mormons.

Great access easy to see petroglyphs. Great explication and even a telescope to look closer. Impressive.

We brought mom on this road trip and where viewing petroglyphs often involves rugged walking or 4wd drive transport to remote locales, this ISS paved parking area off the hwy and a boardwalk to some good stuff. It's also shady. Mom ride her electric scooter to see it all.

THe park has a very nice viewing area to see the petroglyphs. Make sure to walk the boardwalk to see others along the trail.

these are not the best petroglyphs we have seen, but the access is great and the interpretive signs are very helpful.

We saw the petroglyphs and they were interesting, but even moreso, after I returned home to download all my photos, there were more 'faces' in the photo that were not part of the petroglyphs...can't explain them and you can see them very plainly in the photos!

Amazing, well preserved petroglyphs. Nice to see that people have not defaced this little piece of history. A quick walk on the bridge, be sure to keep your eyes open and not miss any of the petroglyphs.

Definitely worth the stop en route to the Park. The petroglyphs really are intriguing; made me think that our ancestors were really creative in their imagination! the bridge walk is super cool with view of the shear cliff above you as you walk it.

It was a wonderful treasure. I attended a ranger talk that helped me appreciate them even more. They are very close and easy to see. If you are at Capitol Reef, you should definitely see these.

Not a lot of them, so wouldn't make a special trip just for those. However, worthwhile if you are already at Capitol Reef National Park. You don't have to climb to see them - they are on Hwy 24 a short distance after you pass the visitor center.

Unless I missed something, there is no point going all the way down. But on your way, you may see petroglyph that might not be visible in the future given they are on fragile stone that might dislodged in the future. The pietroglyphs on the left hand of the trail are really beautiful!

We were at the petroglyphs just when a park ranger was giving a talk about them so it was interesting to learn about the Fremont Indians and the characteristics of their art. It was amazing to think we could see these pictures from at least 700 years ago.
