We spent 4 days/3 nights with Adrift Adventures through the Gates of Lodore from Colorado into Utah. The trip was truly fabulous from the skill and personalities of the guides, to the beautiful, unparalleled scenery, to the fun of being one with the wilderness on the Green River. The Adrift guides went out of their way to help our children (12, 9, and 8) with kayaking, rafting and playing with them on the beach and in the river. They consistently worked to ensure that everyone had a great time whether rafting, hiking, relaxing and taking in the gorgeous setting of Dinosaur National Monument. Our children said it was one of the best vacations they have ever taken! Professor/Historian Andy Gulliford was on the trip through History Colorado offering entertaining stories of the history of this region. The Adrift guides also provided useful information and went out of their way to accommodate all, including various dietary choices. And, the food was terrific!

We took the 4-day raft trip on the Green River in August, 2014. This trip couldn't have been more perfect. The guides are personable and helpful to people of all ages. We had kids, parents and grandparents on this trip and all of us got the attention we needed. Because the trip goes through Dinosaur National Monument and the numbers of users are strictly regulated, we only saw a few other rafters during the 4 days. Without cell phones or any technology, this was a time to completely let go and just be in the moment as we rafted (or kayaked) through the magnificent canyons of DNM. The scenery is breathtaking and we were often treated to wildlife at the water's edge. Adrift Adventures provides excellent food and everything is done with remarkable efficiency. I would definitely take this one again.

The day trip or the 4 day trip in Dinosaur that Adrift Adventures runs are both excellent rafting experiences. The Adventure Staff is outstanding both in experience on the river and in being king and helpful. The guides were excellent with both children and adults and kept everyone involved and taken care of. Meals on the longer trip were fabulous and quite varied with fresh food every night, well prepared. Safety and cleanliness were priorities in the service of a good trip but not overly burdensome. All of our guides were fun to be with and knowledgeable about the river and the area and their various entertainments were a hoot. The guides were always available to be helpful from bandaging small wounds to securing our food and other belongings from possible skunk and bear visits, though only the skunk came into camp. Long horn sheep could be seen along the river as well as amazing geology. Couldn't recommend this trip more highly.

We really enjoyed our sunset river float down the Colorado near Moab Utah. Our guide, Corby, allowed us to float in the water along the raft to cool off. We got to see some wild longhorn sheep along the river and the beautiful colors of sunset on the canyon walls as we floated along. I can enthusiastically recommend adrift adventures

The day trip was kool, my kids 13 & 8 & my mom 66 love it. Very good safety briefing and a lot of information. It was fun, informative and the entrance to the Dinosaur National Monument was included in the price. Will do it again!!

Use the Utah entrance at Jensen. A fun place for the family. Hiking, rafting, etc. nearby. The excavation exhibit was great. See bones embedded in a cliff side and imagine what this country was once like. Nearby Vernal is a nice place to stay with several attractions close by. Can be hot in the Summer, but September is just right.A beautiful drive to Heber City, UT

We had a tremendously good time on this one day trip. (bus ride from Moab to put in, rafting with astute guide, lunch on the beach, more rafting, including some wild rapids, bus ride back to Moab).Mark was exceptionally great! conversing, providing information, keeping us safe, enjoying himself.

The guides were very safety conscious, and still a lot of fun. For the one full day (14 miles) we put in at Hittle Bottom which was perfect! Great shore lunch as well!

We rafted the one day trip through Dinosaur with Adrift Adventures. It was a great informative day with fun whitewater for the kids. The guides were really professional and knowledgeable about the area. The rafting provided some splashy fun on a nice warm day. It was a great way to see the Monument by raft. Definitely recommend it to all.

Our family had a wonderful trip down the Colorado River in Utah's Canyonlands (Moab to Hite Marina) during late June 2013. The 5-day rowing trip we selected was above and beyond our expectations. The scenery, water, hikes and the river beach campsites were amazing, and it was all made possible through the dedication and professionalism of our very capable river guide Marc. Our family connected with our guide immediately as he was very personable, showed a fun sense of humor and our two college age kids liked him right away. Immediately apparent were his years of experience as a river guide, and he was a wealth of information in river currents and riverside ecology, geology, Anasazi Indian history and nature overall. While much of the 100 mile stretch was considered flat-water, before the rapids of Cataract Canyon, it was a very relaxing trip. With the luxury of time we were able to see a lot and also take it all in. We had gorgeous private river beach sites and enjoyed the sounds of frogs at night and many birds, and squawking ravens by morning. The side hikes were great to view some ancient Indian ruins. Our guide was professional about river safety, always insisting on the wearing of life jackets when we went swimming- floating down the river for relief from the 110+ heat, making sure we were always keeping ourselves hydrated and protected from the intense sun. He was an excellent cook and all of our meals (spare-ribs, fish, lasagna, steaks and hot breakfasts) were great. He made the trip fun for all of and I felt we were all in safe and capable hands as we headed into the rapids of Cataract Canyon. The ride was thrilling and the splashing water was welcome. We even all got to play in the mud as we were approaching Lake Powell. This was a great trip and I would highly recommend Adrift Adventures to family and friends.

This was my second time rafting on the Colorado and I decided to choose a different company. On my previous trip we went on the upper Colorado which I think is more fun as there are many more rapids but I was interested to see this part of the Colorado and experience the views.Although the views are great there aren't many rapids and it ends up being more of a relaxing scenic cruise. We got to swim a little in the river, although due to liability issues we weren't allowed to swim over the white water which was a little disappointing as the other company do let you do this, and in my own opinion it's safe and fun. I was also expecting a water fight as I had experienced before with another company but there were no water guns so I was a little bummed.Otherwise our guide was professional and friendly and looked after us.

This was a great adventure. I enjoyed it and would love to do it again sometime. Excellent scenery, great guides, wonderful food, prefect friends, all around an amazing time.

We went with Adrift Adventures. We drove on time with a school bus in 15 minutes before we arrived at the Colorado river. Before going into the water, you have to sign all kind of 'I will not sew you if anything goes wrong' forms. And your belongings are packed in an metal old world war II ammunition case. So you get the feeling, this gonna be a very dangerous and life threatening raft trip. But in the end it's a stroll in the park and with our great guide Chris, you are in save hands. He is a helpful and knowledgeable guide. He will fix you a simple and healthy lunch, buffet style. Wraps, tomato, lettuce, macaroni, cheese, roast beef, ham, cookies and refreshing orange parts. He is the one who rows the boat, but if you want, you can row along. He maneuvers the boat thru the rapids safely. But what do you expect with a young guide, strong as a bear? It's fun for the whole family, worth every dollar and if you are lucky, a water fight could breaks out between your boat and other boats. I would say, enjoy and just do it!

We took a group of about 45 girls on a two day river trip with Adrift. It was a wonderful experience. The guides were so nice and respectful to the girls and they were also very patient. They all had a good sense of humor and you knew it was their priority to make our trip fun and safe. They were very professional and the meals they provided for us were excellent. I would definitely book another adventure with Adrift.
