always rafting and kayaking

Our family (dad,mom and boys 18 and 15) had a great time rafting down the Sevier River with Don as our guide! My wife was a bit leary about the trip before we started, as she had never been rafting before. Don did a great job calming her fears and making it an enjoyable day for all of us! I would highly recommend Always Rafting to anyone thinking about rafting for the first time or for experienced rafters looking for a fun day on the the Sevier river!

We were celebrating our 27th wedding anniversary and wanted to do something unforgettable and rafting the Sevier did not disappoint. Bridger was our guide and he made the whole trip entertaining and exciting. Thank you Debra and Don for your warm hospitality.... we took Debra's advise and had the prime rib dinner at Bear Paw overlooking Panguitch lake....gorgeous views! This was the highlight of our trip and we will definately be back....and Don...I am hooked...bring on the 3+'s!!!! Until we meet again - Manuel and Josie, your friends from Las Vegas. :)

My dad (75), my two boys (6 and 9) and I went rafting down the Sevier river with these guys. What a blast! The staff was all very friendly and humorous. I didn't think we'd get much action in 2 hours, but there was a good amount of rapids in that short trip, and we all got pretty wet! The boys absolutely loved it!

What a great trip we had today! About 8 years ago my wife and I took a trip down the Grand Canyon for our first rafting trip. The thing I remember most was the knowledge that the guide had of the formation of the canyon and the history of the area. We had a similar experience today with Always Rafting, our guide was filled with amazing and endless information. We will be back for sure! We have young kids, 6 and 4, they had a great time and were able to be apart of the trip. There were all sorts of rock formations that were up on the hill sides that made it exciting for the kids. We also felt very safe with Don as our guide, the equipment was in great condition and well taken care of. The length of the trip was perfect, about two hours. Must do, come see these guys you will not be disappointed!

We just gone done with our trip to Southern Utah. One of our fun activities was to take a white water rafting trip. We chose this outfitter due to its location to Bryce, Zion and Capitol Reef NPs.The facility is about an hour and a half from Bryce Canyon. Everybody in my family was pumped about our ride. Our guide was Bridger and he's a good guy and mad the trip even better. He knows how to guide a raft and was very knowledgeable of the area. He also was fun and got the most out of the rapids with a few good bumps, but was always safe. My family loved his funny description of the rocks in the valley. The river was decent and had was mostly class 1s and 2s with a couple of 3s on the 6 mile trip.The best surprise of the trip was we got to see this beautiful canyon and river. We had to go a little out of the way to get here as this location is a little remote. We wish we had more time to get spend her as the area had a great biking trail along the river and also had some other outdoor activities around it like ATV rentals and hiking. All the national parks get the press, but this area is just as beautiful. We've done rafting on other rivers, and this trip was one of our favorites.The trip was not too bad either about $40 per person for a 2 hour trip. Well worth it.If staying in Bryce or Zion, this is worth your time to take 1/2 day to have an adventure.Limited lodging in the area. If you want the standard franchise hotel, try Richfield about 25 minutes North.

We vacationed in the area for a week and this was the absolute highlight! Zion and Bryce Canyon were beautiful, but rafting was soooo much fun. Joe was a great guide and made sure our young kids had a great time. Definitely a must do.

We were with friends and this was the first white water adventure for all of us. We had a fabulous time!. As other reviewers stated Don and Deb are very nice. Don is quite the storyteller and makes you feel very relaxed. Our guide was Joe. He was GREAT! Had fun finding the different rock formations along the way and steering us into the appropriate areas to get just wet enough. Then we also had the good fortune of Mother Nature helping to keep us cool on a warm summer day with a Thunder storm. Great fun! would definitely recommend. Located behind a rest area on the highway. Tip: come wearing the clothes you are willing to get wet in. Leave in car a change of clothes and towel to dry off. You can change at the rest area bathroom, which was very clean. Restaurant across the street, Hoovers, was delicious. Great decor too. Very friendly server.

Just enough excitement without endangering the children. our guide, from Idaho, was great. Almost had a man overboard on the Rambo section, but all was well. The grandchildren are still talking about it.

Family of 5, with kids ranging from 7-11 years old, & it was a great experience. The owners are very nice, relational people, and our guide, Joe, was excellent. He was great with the kids, funny, & skilled as a rafting guide. We felt very comfortable under his guide. Awesome value, too. Loved it.

We did the rafting today. Its great. Its two hours rafting, ideal fro families with children. There are just enough rapids for excitement and fun. Don is a great guy, and half of the fun was talking to him.

This is my first time river rafting. The company is run by wonderful couple - Don and Deb. Don was the guide during our trip. He is very friendly, funny and knowledgable. You can experience class 1, 2, & 3 during the river rafting and I had lots of fun as first timer. Make sure you call ahead to make reservation. After the trip, you should stop by the Hoovers restaurant across the street. They have amazing food and make sure you try the fried bread with honey butter!!

We were there last summer...(July 2013) My brother and I and 4 kids on the raft trip. It was the kids first ever river trip. Don was clearly knowledgeable, relaxed, personable, and knew the river.... I especially loved him pointing out all the rock formations, the bible stories, the singing, and just generally feeling like wed known Don our whole life. We kinda wished we coulda taken him on the rest of our trip around Utah. Overall, an amazing raft trip....for kids of all ages. We were visiting from SC. Just returned from a trip to Utah with my two 11 year-old boys and our river trip with Always Rafting and Kayaking in Marysvale was a real high point! The drive from Bryce was totally worth it, and beautiful. Pulling into their parking area it looked kind of desolate and iffy, but as soon as we met the great folks running the place, we were having fun. Knowledgable, kind, responsible and professional, they gave us a wonderful afternoon on the river. The trip was about an hour and 20 minutes long, which was perfect, and it was exciting without being scary. I'm a mother who doesn't enjoy danger, and I felt that my kids and I were really in good hands. Couldn't have asked for a better first white water trip for my kids and a really fun time for me as well. Don't miss this if you are anywhere nearby!!Laura, New York City

Yesterday was my second time on the Sevier river with Don and Company. The water was higher and faster than the first time and the guided raft trip was extraordinary! I will definitely be back next year. Absolutely worth my 200 mile round trip for this experience.
