red hawk ridge golf course

My son and I came to Castle Rock to meet my buddy and his son (a superintendent at an exclusive club here) to play golf for four days. They selected Red Hawk Ridge for our first round. The golf was superb. Course was immaculate, greens putted wonderfully, a thoroughly enjoyable day. Plenty of elevated tee shots, wonderful scenery, great conditioning. Highly recommend. Hit it straight, no problem.

Fun golf course and well maintained. The staff is helpful. Reasonably priced. I always enjoy playing at Red Hawk Ridge.

I love this course! It plays around a butte and has some great uphill holes and of course some fun elevated tees. Wide fairways, and fair greens. It is generally kept in good shape.Two words of wisdom- The driving range hits directly into a steep uphill grade. It feels a bit odd, but you get used to it. Secondly, Not everyone seems to take care with ball marks on the greens. Both times I've played here the greens were soft and ball marks were easily created. Unfortunately, not everyone takes care of this beautiful course the way they should.

A lot of par 5's and sand traps. Fun course. Nice wide fairways are forgiving if you have a mild slice or hook.

Fantastic staff, gorgeous course. I recommend this course to all my golfing friends. If your not a golfer have lunch at the club house and enjoy the view.

I'm not a golf course connoisseur, but it seems like a nice course and I enjoyed my day. I found that it is cheaper if you go after 3pm. Its a hilly course, so you'll definitely want a cart. We had a very nice time and I'd go again.

Beautiful course with beautiful views! A great place for friends, out of town guests, families with kids, couples, etc...A little slice of heaven right in the city!

I'm a member of the Men's Club at Red Hawk Ridge, so I get to play there more than 20 times a year. The course is almost always in pristine condition. You're greeted at the number 1 tee box by a friendly, knowledgeable starter who makes sure to start off the round on a pleasant note. Marshals roam the course, making sure that proper pace of play is maintained, while not badgering you. The Jim Engh-designed course makes you play all the clubs in your bag from a variety of elevated tees. (With the elevated tees, the course plays shorter than shown on the scorecard.) There are many risk/reward holes on the course. Enjoy yourself after the round in the clubhouse where Jim DePinto and his staff make sure that you are properly hydrated and fed. Great golf course. Beautiful panoramic views. Friendly staff and nice facilities. Would recommend of anyone in the Denver area.

I've enjoyed playing Red Hawk Ridge Golf Course. In deference to the altitude it is long, with par-5's 535-620 yards long and the 4's correspondingly long. Challenging to novice and intermediate golfers.

Beautiful course. Beautiful views.Took the grand kids to hit at the driving range and had to wait for the deer to clear the range.

Great design, many elevated tee's. They do a good job keeping the pace of play moving. The course has always been in great condition even during the dry season.

So this course is owned by the city...and they better be proud! Stunning views and 18 holes for about what it costs to fill up my truck. The Hampton Inn has a great deal for guests so be sure to use the perk!

When Oscar is grilling the burgers, they can't be beat!

We consider this our home course - my wife plays in the ladies 18 hole league. The course is friendly to the ladies and seniors and has spectacular views of the front range. This past Monday, the course was in outstanding condition and the best I have seen it in over 10 years. The price makes this a great value.
