Beautiful place to walk, see, listen and visit. Not here this time for a concert (they are great here), just visiting with family. Nature, rocks, mountains and clean air. Enjoy!

For an outside venue... Red Rocks has it figured out and it'd definitely worth seeing any of your favorite artists. Actually finding a way to get here to see your favorite artist would be totally worth it. I have seen Kid Cudi and Eric Church at Red Rocks and I am already beginning to plan my next concert to get here. So much fun and I think that everyone should frequent this place!

The Red Rocks park was a breathtaking experience! You get to see great rock formations from 70 million years ago, and an amazing construction in the middle of it (the amphiteater). By visiting the museum you get to understand the geology and also other interesting facts about the venue. The restaurant was a good one too! Great experience only 25 min from downtown Denver.

We had been to Colorado and the Denver area many times, but never made it up to Red Rocks. Finally made the trip for some hiking and was thoroughly impressed. The theater is a natural attraction and fun to see, even during the day with no venue in progress. Area is busy, though. People hiking, site seeing, exercising, etc. Parking can be a bit challenging, but worth the effort. We visited the amphitheater and visitors center (neat) and then hiked down the trail system to the bottom as we had two cars and some did not want to hike. It is a somewhat rugged trail and you need to be fit and able to traverse it. Hundreds of fantastic views of rock formations in just a short 20 minute hike. I suspect the hike back up or around to the east would add hundreds more. We really enjoyed our visit and hike. We tackled the hike in the morning and caught great light on the rock formations. Take lots of pictures!

Don't miss. Beautiful. Can walk or drive up. Weather permitting, hiking trails too. Venue for concerts but worth visiting even without the entertainment. Had lunch at the Ship Rock Grille there. Food was ok, but nothing special. Bring a picnic instead to enjoy the magnificent works of nature surrounding you, An easy drive from Denver, fine for a day trip.

I have been to Red Rocks on two separate occasions. First was for three concert nights for my favorite band and it was incredible. the sun setting over the red faced rocks, moon behind us, and incredible acoustics created one of the greatest concert experiences i have ever had. The second time we went to red rocks was during the day, and we hiked around and trekked up and down the rows of the amphitheater. many people were having picnic lunches, some were working out, others were just taking pictures. it was very warm and the view was incredible. Bring water with you, and some snacks as you may get hungry and the concessions are lack luster.

Breathtaking views. The amphitheater itself is amazing. The view from the trails of the mountains and the valley are breathtaking. It's a must see!

We went here to look at the amazing views, but did not get a chance to see a concert. Excellent views and structure!

Best music venue I've been too. I live 4 hours away but go to several concerts here every summer because it is amazing.

I have been coming to Red Rocks for over 40 years. Bar none, one of the vest places to see a show. Rock climbing is illegal but it has some terrific climbs, caves and chimneys. Seven Sisters, the caves down by the old graveyard and so many more. No trip to Denver is complete without going there.

Red Rocks is the very best of music venues. The acoustics are spectacular, it's gorgeous and there's not a bad seat to be had...even when you don't actually have a seat. I would gladly fly to Denver with no other purpose than seeing a band I love play here. There is no better way to hear, feel and see the music than under the stars at Red Rocks. **A note about seating, I prefer to have an assigned seat, but if you do choose a general admission ticket you will need to arrive very early in order to find a seat in that section at all.**

Very cool place. Beautiful scenery. Plus, its free to look around, there was even people running the steps of the amphitheater which I thought was cool. Would love to see a concert at this venue one day

When I mentioned that we were going to visit my brother in Denver, everyone said we have to go here.Well, I'm glad we did. This is quite the place. Great photo op, but even more interesting to walk through and read the list of who's who that performed there.

Red Rocks is a very picturesque site outside of Denver. We visited in February so there were no concerts, just a lot of exercisers running up the steps. The site is free with great views of the start of the Rockies and views of downtown Denver. For a more leisurely visit, there is a museum and restaurant at the site. The museum has videos from past concert performances and impressive acts that have played Red Rocks. If you are in shape and can handle the thin air, walk down to the bottom to stand on the stage for an amazing view.
