If you're a more accomplished golfer (16 or better Hdcp) and like a challenge, this is one course that should be on your bucket list. High handicappers, bring some extra balls. Four different tees to choose from. Play the tips and think course management. Hint... Don't always break out the BIG stick. The fairways are nice, miss them and you pay the price. Mostly large, sometimes multi-tiered greens are a challenge for any golfer, but three putting these greens is not an uncommon thing. Reasonably priced for a course that doesn't get the credit it deserves. If you want to play a low round on an easy course, go play putt putt. If you like a challenge and want to enjoy the scenery of the Mountains, this is the course to play!
One of the greatest golf courses in Colorado. Great scenery, difficult greens, not many flat spots in the fairways, but really fun to play.
The course is beautiful and well maintained. But the prices are a little steep. They could attract tons of business from Glenwood to Grand Junction if they lowered the prices a tad. It makes it tough for an average Joe teacher like me to get out more than once or twice during the season. If they lowered the prices by 10 bucks or so, I'd be out every weekend.
This is an 18 hole golf course located on a mesa overlooking I-70 and the valley below. It is a beautiful course with a great staff and club house. The course is not overly challenging with some bunkers, water traps and deep rough outside the green at times. It is a nice course for the "average" golfer. I think a really good golfer who likes a lot of challenge and difficult shots would not like it as much. This is the second time we have played here and if we lived closer we would play much more often.
I am a major golfer and love to golf!!! But there are a lot of old people and I would like to see a much younger generation golfing.
