We've stopped at Elevation Beer Co twice when driving through Poncha Springs and love their location and beer. We've even started seeing more of their beers at our local liquor store and are happy they're getting stocked in Denver! It's close off the highway, so if you're driving through the area, it's definitely worth the stop for a tasting tray!
Finally stopped in a month ago and this has been our stop on our way home from a few days working in salida . Sampled most of the beers and they are all very good, fanboy my favorite so far. Go in on Thursday, Megan is very friendly . Had another wait on us and was not too friendly . Nice atmosphere, sitting outside would be awesome when warmer . Bar stools are different .
For being as young as it is, Elevation Beer Company is producing some really fantastic beers! We went in to try a few beers and walked out with a wall sign, T-shirt, glasses (the list goes on). I'm really impressed with the quality!
Great place to stop after a day of skiing! Great quality beer! Sample several. Bring a growler to fill-up to bring back to the hotel!
We stopped Elevation Beer Co while out visiting friends in Salida. Wow, excellent beer. We'd been told it was good, and it's just outstanding. The tasting room is really nice, and you can order tasting flights to sample a variety of beers. Our favorite was the Senorita. We really had a nice time. Highly recommended.
We stopped by to check out the local beer. This is a great little place. It was packed with people waiting for tables. We tried the beer sampler and it was lots of fun. We did not eat but the food looked pretty good. Very short menu, but who comes here for the food?
So many Colorado microbrews popping up, but this one is outstanding. Decided to track this place down after trying their First Cast IPA while dining in Steamboat Springs. A lot of great, unique tastes...liked their horchata spiced Senorita Porter. Loved their Signal, aged in chardonnay oak barrels; FanBoy, double IPA aged in oak barrels; Apis, honey Belgian; and First Cast IPA.Both of the bar staff were super friendly.
If you want a fine crafted brew. This is the place. If you dislike a nose up in the air, Aspeny attitude. Then pass this one by.
We had heard about this brewery while in a restaurant in Salida. My husband ordered a beer from this brewery and it was great. So we drove a quick 5 miles to the brewery. We were not in the least bit disappointed. We did the 5 beer tasting for $15. Got a nice sized serving of each (see picture below). Unique beers with great complexity.
Unexpectedly sleek and comfortable tasting room. Great variety of beers and plenty of merchandise for sale. Awesome patio area available and great music playing inside. Oh, and did I mention the beer is phenomenal?
This was a highlight on our brewery stops. Great beer. Got the Sampler- you pick any 5 beers for $15. They had a good variety and they ranged from great to very good. They had a food truck in the back I believe, because someone ordered a pulled pork but they don't seve food. Kid friendly- Woot! Inside there are games for the kiddos, and outside my kids played corn hole while we enjoyed the view with our beer. If you love craft beer- check this place out!
This place is a GEM. The beer is clean, crisp and award-winning, the tasting room/patio is hip and fun and the guys are AWESOME. They showed us top notch hospitality. If you're a beer fan, you must visit elevation.
This brewery has small-town charm, friendly staff, and most importantly - the best beer in Colorado! They recently (May 2014) were awarded the Best Brewery award at the South Denver Beer Fest. It is truly a beer connoisseur's paradise. They always keep three beers on tap - the Kolsch, the First Cast IPA, and the Lil 'Mo Porter. The rest of the taps rotate but typically include Saison, Tripel, Double IPA's, Stout's, Engel Weisse, Oak-Cast IPA, Quadrupel, and lots more. They also have firkins, where beer is pulled part way through the typical brewing process, ingredients are added that increase flavor and alcohol content, and this beer becomes naturally carbonated. The flavor profiles of their beers are amazing. They use bold flavors, and are constantly experimenting to stay on the cutting edge. The beer here is so good I drink all of the styles here, instead of my go-to IPA. If you want bland, cheap beer, don't go here. Otherwise, get here early - they close at 8!
We live within a few miles and every visit is unique. Love the set up and feel of the bar area. Love the samplers and recommend the IPA & Koelsch. Get in on tour to know all the behind the scenes details. Just plain cool!
Very nice brewery, we had a flight of beer to try as many beers as possible and it was well worth the price. The staff was friendly.
