I'm not interested in aircraft, military matters or any related areas. However, this museum was still fascinating.Getting up close and personal with the various aircraft gave a whole new view of war time tales. It breathed life into movie memories and gave a more realistic perspective of what people went through in WWII.Very nice place to spend a relaxed afternoon.

It is really a all day trip to try & see what all they have to see. From planes, jets, jeeps, hueys,uniforms of the era, to NASA. So much to see & take in. They even allow you to take pictures! There are 2 huge hangars that they have their planes etc. In. A lot of WW II. It is a must see for everybody.

The Pueblo Weisbrod Aircraft Museum is known as the B-24 Museum. Pueblo was one of the B-24 training sites during WWII. While they do not have a B-24 on site, there are numberous other historic aircraft to enjoy. I have been going to Pueblo since the mid 1990's, and each year there are improvements to the museum. All but the B-47, C-119 and P2V have been moved indoors. Inside there is a full up B-29, A-26C, C-47E, F9F-8, RA-5C, SH-34J, F-104, F-86D, F-100D, F-11F, and F-6A just to name a few. It is a well kept up museum with a very friendly and attentive staff. There are a number of same exhibts with personal items. It is well worth the visit. (719) 948-9219 Admission $7.00.

lived here for most of my life. My family went to the aircraft museum for the first time recently. It was such an awesome experience for us. we went on one of the open house free days. They had games, a band and some of the aircraft were open to climb into and sit in. It may not be someplace you go all the time but I recomend seeing it at least once.

Friends from Canon City wanted to go, I was reluctant.I am glad I did. The history in the buildings is amazing.Don't miss it

Lots of history here in a convenient location off Highway 50. Several military airplanes and other military vehicles. Excellent volunteers with experience and knowledge in military history and aircraft.

Come to find out that Pueblo Colorado was a large military base during World War II with lots of history. If you have an hour, don't miss out on a great Aviation Museum at the Pueblo Airport. Not only will you be greeted by retired military volunteers they will tour you through the museum and add their colorful experiences and knowledgeable incite into the planes and equipment on display at the museum. I would say that the museum ranks in the top 20 of all military aviation museums in the US.

Love all the aircraft from different eras. The docents were very knowledgeable and obviously enjoy interacting with the public and teaching about the wide range of aircraft on display. I was their with friends for their young sons birthday party. How cool is that. The kids attention spans didn't allow them to delve to deeply into the history but the ability to get in, on and around such cool displays made a very fun time for even the very young kids at the party. I also had a chance to talk at length with the docents for more insight on the displays. Also 3 very large cargo planes flew over, landed at the airport and took off again while we were there. A very fun afternoon.

A real jewel. My grandchildren loved it. Lots of stuff to touch, climb on and pretend! Staff was friendly and exhibits lovingly maintained.

Astonishing collection of aircraft in a surprising town. Full B-29 in the hangar as well as an RA-5 Vigilante in another hangar, a B-47, P2V and C-123 waiting outside for their own hangars. Many other aircraft and displays and you can walk in very close proximity to the exhibits.

Museums are made by the enthusiasm and passion of those who work there and there's no denying that the staff at this museum love what they do and love sharing their knowledge with visitors. The collection seems somewhat random at times (we couldn't really understand why the space race stuff was there), but it gives things to people of all ages. We thought there was a big emphasis on 1950s and 1960s aircraft, ie between WWII and Vietnam which is an era many museums overlook but was actually a critical transition period in aviation. If you're a massive aviation enthusiast I'm sure you could spend hours here but if you're a passing tourist you'll be impressed by the size of the collection for a relatively remote location.Worth visiting.

The museum is not as large as some others we've visited, but it's exceptionally well put together. They have a B-29 on display and there is a video of the history of the plane. The video is exceptionally well done video shows the interior of the plane and what it took to fly the plane. They have a nice display of electronics as well as other planes in 2 hangers. There are school desks for children who aren't interested in looking around to color pictures of planes or write cards to soldiers. There is a lounge area and adequate chairs around the museum if you need to rest. I also noticed several wheelchairs which were available if needed. The very friendly volunteers running the museum are retired AF pilots who were able to answer all of our questions.

This museum is predominately World War II artifacts and planes. We belong to The VAFM in Platteville, Co. This museum in Pueblo is well worth the time.

We like the special events they have especially for kids and when they have the WWII exhibits and reinactors. There is so much to see so it seems like there is something new each time. This is a Pueblo gem and should be on each tourists list.

My husband is a private pilot so as we travel, we always pull in to any form of air museum. Since I'm really not the airplane enthusiast as he is, this probably isn't the right review for me to be writing, but based on his feelings, he's been to better and he has been to worse. But I've never seen him not spend many hours looking around in any of these museums and sometimes he will spend all day. In this case, it was about an 1 1/2 hours which is shorter than most, if that is any indication. But it's really about your personal interests, so this would be a hard call on whether each individual will enjoy it or not. The admission cost is $7.00 and there are boxes if you want to leave an extra donation which we did.
