晴天的时候再去,同时要为凉爽的天气做好准备。驾驶过程感觉很不错,可以看到很美的风景。头顶的天空真的是一尘不染,万里无云。但是天气瞬间就会改变,所以要做好准备,以防坏天气向你逼近。

距丹佛不远处的美丽景区的一段车程。比丹佛凉快15度,所以带上合适的衣服,为下午的风暴做好准备。自行车骑行旅程将挑战你的肺部。早点去,以躲过午后的旅游人群。

神奇的开车之旅,太美了。如果你一整天都向着顶端驶去,要确保带着水,穿得暖。我们当时去丹佛的时候气温有70华氏度,埃文斯山顶的风力达到50米/秒,感觉风力还没有达到最大。要安全驾驶,确保车上的刹车状态良好啊!

我们在这附近的山区享受了一次无与伦比的美好驾驶体验。这的景致真是太棒了,真是美妙极了,这里有许多地方适合远行露营,非常有趣。这的纬度和海拔会随着升高发生变化,所以大家一定留意自己步行变化的纬度。

It's well worth the time. Fun hiking trails & wonderful scenery. Go all the way to the summit, it's quite an amazing site.

Been as high as I can get in the states and still be grounded!!! Would love to go back again sometime soon!!

After driving through the Waimea Canyon (Kauai, HI) or the California coast... The Mt Evans Byway isn't in that category of beautiful drives. At all. But it is a "nice" drive with a number of very good views. It's a good way to kill a half day if you don't have anything else planned. I'm not so sure this drive warrants actively making time to do it.

Simply INCREDIBLE... The view is out of this world. I would not say anymore... Go a be a believer...

The drive to the top of Mount Evans via the scenic byway is not to be missed in you are ever in the Denver/Front Range area. It is in the top three, if not at the top, of our favorite drives including Pike's Peak and Trail Ridge Road at Rocky Mountain National Park. Mount Evans has plenty of places to stop and take in the scenery and tons of photo opportunities including lakes, trails, etc. There are tons of animals/wild life as well you will likely encounter: big horn sheep, mountain goats and marmots. Love, love, love this place and go at least once a year...highly recommend the drive to over 14K feet!

We went to Mount Evans for me to photograph my brother and my now sister in laws engagement/save the date photos. It was perfect with the snowy scenery of mountains and trees cascading behind them.

We took this route on the way back into Denver and the views were spectacular! Had to stop so many times for photos but they just don't do justice to the actual view. Sadly did not see any mountain goats but all the way at the bottom we saw a huge herd of elk!! Worth the drive if you have the time. Strongly recommend all wheel drive if you go in the winter.

For fall colors day drives, the Mount Evans loop (SH 103) are matched only by Idaho Springs to Ned or Boulder (SH119) or Silverton to Creede (US 550, US 160, SH 149). Of course, you are going to take the 103 loop, you may as well take SH 5 and go all the way to the top of the highest paved road in North America. (Then come down and hit Beau Jo's in Idaho Springs or Evergreen.)

This is truly a spectacular drive. Having made the trek to the summit before imagine my disappointment when I tried to make the turn off at Echo Lake and the road was closed due to incoming weather. It is just an okay drive up to Echo Lake. The pay off is the higher road going to the summit. Long, windy, no guardrails, wildlife just off the road and sometimes dusted with snow. Great views await at the top. Be sure to check ahead for road closures, you need to go to the top.

Until you take the drive? words truly cannot explain how awesome it is. You will not be disappointed!
