这家商铺的东西比较少,如果真的要想多点,我倒不如建议开车去城西的那几个mall,如果是看着喜欢的就还行。货品没说特别贵,就中规中矩一样。
We had a half day of riding that was a full four hours. Our guide, Luke was accommodating and kind. The horses were very well trained and well mannered. The scenery was spectacular and it was a good value for what we paid. We all had a great time.
We have ridden with Capitol Peak three times. We just did an all day ride to Capital Peak with them. Jose our wrangler was great. Nice guy, informative, and clearly knew what he was doing. The country they ride through is spectacular. The all day ride is a little long, but getting to the base of Capitol Peak made it worth it. The homemade fried chicken lunches are always excellent. They are much less expensive than the local Aspen outfitter. It's worth the 30 minute drive both for the savings and the views.
My family went on the half-day ride out into Maroon Bells and were blown-away with the beauty if the snow-capped mountains even in July. Our horses were pretty well-behaved, though a few times we had to pull them back in line, but we all would do the ride again in a heartbeat!
I went on the 1/2 day Capitol Peak ride and it was nothing short of stunning! I hadn't ridden a horse before so I wasn't totally sure what I was in for. The horses are very well trained and were a great fit for me since I was inexperienced. The guide, Sarah, was sweet, knowledgeable, and funny. The scenery was nothing short of stunning! There were a few times that I got a bit nervous (going down steep descents, or when we had to go off trail to avoid a fallen tree) but then I remembered to just let the horse (Blaze) do her thing and it was all fine. Blaze was a great and sweet horse. The experience was fun and exciting and I am so happy to have done this. I'd like to come back to Aspen next year and if so, I'd consider doing this ride again.
We had a group of 10 for a 2 hour ride. Scenery was terriffic, horses were great, and the ride was fantastic. Wes and Luke, our guides were friendly, knowlegeable, and professional. Contrary to an earlier review, we found John, the owner, to be very friendly and courteous. I would highly recommend this to anybody, to include families. It was a great ride, and very reasonably priced!
I went on a guided elk hunt with John and his guys and they exceeded my expectations by far. John is the owner/operator and for a guy who I expected to see little of due to owners schedules he was with us the entire trip on the mountain. All of the guides and wranglers were top notch and new every tree and canyon on the mountain. I would definitely endorse these guys to all of my friends or anyone wanting to experience a comfortable camp and great food. I have been saving money and time to hopefully join these guys again.Ron Warren
First let's start with the good: our guide Kyler (or Tyler) was great! He was so helpful & enjoyable! Horses were also great! The bad: John the owner was rude on the phone & has terrible customer service. They need to provide water for all tours no matter the length of the tour. John did not tell our group to bring any water and we had someone have to go to the hospital the next day due to dehydration.
Went with spouse and cousin on 1/2 day trail ride - a glorious day, wildflowers in full bloom, skies totally blue with the right dose of puffy clouds. Our guide, Jose, a Glenwood local, was thoughtful and attentive to our group of 6 (a dad and two daughters, along with our threesome). Horses steady, smart and well-behaved, just right for those of us who don't get to ride as often as we might like. The route is beautiful - up a long road (howdy free-range cows!), through aspen groves, along streams, up and down (a lot, so be sure you are comfy doing so on a horse), and up to a high pasture/stream area for a good packed lunch. Down via a different route for the most of the way. A great day - we're a tad sore today, but happily so!
I made my reservation with John for my families' 2 hour horseback riding trip. The horses were brought to Basalt in a trailer, and we met our guides at an arranged meeting spot. From there, we followed the guides (and the trailer) up the mountain. The horses were unloaded and off we went! Our guide, Tyler and Brandon, were professional, knowledgeable and informative. The horses were well kept, not too eager to shlep us up the mountain but hey, they took us! We will definitely book with them again, next time a half day with our 7 year old boys. The guys told us that they have horses suited for kids. If you are not used to being on a horse for 2 hours straight, you might be a little sore. The only suggestion I have is to have the group dismount at the top, get a little nature talk and then go down again. This helps stretching your legs and back a little. They probably don't want to do this since they discourage the horses from grazing, which is fully understandable.
Found just what I needed and even a pair of sunglasses for both the kids!
