telluride/mountain village gondola

The gondola system in Telluride is fantastic. It's by far the best way to get around Telluride and Mountain Village. Beautiful views.

Great views from this free, efficient transportation between Telluride and the Mountain Village. We rode over to Mountain Village from Telluride as the sun was setting, so great light and mountain vistas, and when we returned we enjoyed the lights of the Mountain Village pulling out and the village of Telluride coming down. Beautiful and fun.

It is a free ride and they use "green" energy. So if you go, please give a little of the other green to help keep it operating!

Mountain village was great. People were so friendly and nice and very helpful. Loved that the gondola was free so we were able to ride it a couple of times.We checked out mountain village during the day and at night. So beautiful. Oh my the sceneries were breath taking.We were there first week of November and not all shops were open and some eateries were closed too.Either than that it was superb. I am glad we were able to see Telluride especially with my sis who for the first time experienced snow.

Great Village. Everyone we met were very nice. This includes Mountain Village and Telluride. We asked for directions, etc. and everyone was very friendly. Some folks reminded me of the 70's. Flower Power, Love, Peace. etc. nice.

No need to drive....this gondola runs 7:00 AM until midnight...on 12 minute ride from Mountain Village to Telluride.

Whisked us up the Mountain to Allreds in no time and down to Mountain Village quick ever day. Always dependable!

Everyone that works and lives in Mountain Village are very friendly. It was still decorated from Christmas and was so pretty!

It's a gondola, there's not much to say! Great views, friendly folks at the station to assist you in and out, blankets available in the station for those chilly rides.

The telluride/mountain Village Gondola is a great way to experience all the restaurants and après ski for free. It runs continuously and till midnite. The stations are right next to all the hotels, shops and restaurants in Mt Village and the town side drops you conveniently 2 blocks from the main strip in town, Colorado Blvd. there is also a link to a chondola to take you down to the Golf Course section. Really don't need a car in Telluride.

The views are gorgeous, its easy to ride, love it! Alot of people don't realize there is more than one Gondola access, there is one by the grocery store in Mountain village that takes you to the main Gondola to go into Telluride.

Telluride gondolas go to several locations, are pleasant and well run, run until late at night and are FREE.

so convenient to hit the town from mountain village, either during the day or for dinner and après ski. No need for a car if you are staying in the mountain village
