Spring starts to melt the ice- no more ice skating, no more Xmas tree or hockey rink- but let's face it, it's spring! This is a beautiful area and is equally enjoyable to view in the spring/summer. 4th of July would be perfect.

Biggest ice skating lake (5 miles), good prices for rentals and they offer sleds/wagons to pull kids around the rink on! You skate around a huge pine tree in the middle and the mountains are a spectacular view to see!

The views here are incredible! We loved the "walkers" they had - for kids AND adults who didn't really know how to skate. The music was awesome (best hits from the 90s??) and the skates are great (not your typical indoor rink variety). It was my kids first time on skates and they skated nearly 3 hours. Staff was friendly and your ticket is good all day - if you want to do something else, just turn in your skates, then come back and check them out again when you're ready to do more skating!

Ice hockey and skating on the rink in the winter is so much fun. Restaurants surround the lake and you can sit inside or outside to enjoy the views.

the entire lake has is cleaned with a Zamboni so a fantastic surface. They have great skate rental program in the adventure area with hockey puck & stick rentals also available. They even have the little kid A frame setups to help the tiny kids be independent on their skates.

Getting to the lake to ice skate is not well marked and people in Keystone must not go there much. There is free parking across the street "USE IT" with a very cool tunnel over to the lake. Very beautiful at night! We must have picked the wrong night as there was a hockey game about to occur and the sign up took a very long time. It was awesome to skate on a real lake. From Texas something we do not do very often.

This is more of a man made pond than a lake. But it is a fun place to ice skate with the family while at the resort.

We love Keystone Lake! The best thing for us is feeding the ducks, geese, and fish (the grandkids LOVE it). It's a cozy setting with many fun things for everyone.

We rented a pontoon for the day. Very peaceful and beautiful vistas. Stopped for drinks beforehand at the Tiki bar.

We rented 3 kayaks and had a great time in the lake.It is not a hard activity,the lake is smooth.There is a small sand beach to get in and out of the kayaks.

A great place for kids of all ages...lots to do! They even let my two young kids (8 and 6) take out a kayak alone and they did great!!! ...but the lake is small enough that this mom had peace of mind doing it knowing they're right there! Get your fish food inside for $2...it lasts forever!!

Enjoyed nice walks around the lake in the AM and PM. Kids loved feeding the trout and ducks. Lots of fun activities (paddle boat, paddle board, kayaks-though a little pricey).

I have experienced the lake in both summer and winter. Always activities to do there. Nice little restaurants dotted around the lake as well.In winter, you can ice skate and at Christmas time, keep an eye out for Santa and his reindeer. In summer, you can paddle boat and kayak around the lake.Very pretty either time of the year.

Keystone is still a great place to ski, but Vail Resorts are pricing it out of the market. The ordinary skier can no longer afford $125 for a one-day ticket for their resorts and CVolorado is fast becoming a destination for only the wealthiest of skiers. European skiers are no longer going there due to the costs! It still has great skiing with the three inter-connected hills and the Outpost Lodge is a great place to meet for food and drink. The village is a grat place to end the day with numerous bars and restaurants..

The skating is awesome - why this system feels I have to have 50 characters to explain my feelings is a little off. AWESOME. Sometimes a word is good enough!
