equinox brewing

I was a big fan of this brewery the last time I was here in early 2013. They made the bar more accessible now and the atmosphere is just great. I had a flight of really strong beers that I normally wouldn't try, but theybwere very very good. I bought my wife a shirt to replace her favorite shirt from here that she has worn out. Excellent place to sit and hang out.

So ok I admit I'm not a beer person. I order whatever wheat beer they have. This brewing place didn't have a good wheat. It tasted bitter for a wheat which I clearly stated I did not want. I ended up drinking water. On the other hand why I gave it a 3 rating my husband and sons didn't have any complaints. Also two bag pipe musicians came in and played for all of us. That was neat.

Located in Old Town this once homebrew shop has been transformed into one the premiere micro breweries in town. The beer selection is varied and sure to please those who are craft beer enthusiasts. The quality of their craft beer is some of the best. They have won several medals in the state for their craft beers. We truly enjoyed the locals and the ambiance of this establishment. The service was very good and quite friendly. A great place to come to and enjoy a pint or two.

We visited 8 of the 12 or so breweries in Fort Collins, and this was the only place we went twice. And I have to say that many of the other breweries we visited were also excellent. The taproom has a very relaxed and friendly ambiance and helpful bartenders. We concentrated on the outstanding selection of IPAs but saw many other interesting styles as well. Also, there is some live music on the weekends.

I place this brewery in the same ilk as Horse and Dragon. Fantastic Beer. This brewery has produced several of the best beers I have tasted in Colorado. You must try this brewery if in the Ft Collins area and if you are a beer geek like me. While we were there, we got both samplers, which I highly recommend to do to try everything, but you need to split it with somebody. (Wife). Whereas they dont have a kitchen per se, they do have some apps, and we demolished some good chips and salsa.

Stumbled upon this brewery / taproom enjoyed the atmosphere and beer so much had to return the next day. Top of our list for our next trip to Ft. Collins in to weeks.

This was one of the absolute best microbreweries I've ever visited. Period. They had 10 or 12 beers on tap, eight of which I tried. I rated most of them 4.0 or better (out of 5.0). Rocky Mountain Steinbier (golden ale), Hail Damage Imperial Amber (imperial red), Star Destroyer Imperial IPA, and Haver Scottish Ale were all great, but the Vernal Hefeweizen and Supergiant Imperial Hefeweizen were simply amazing. Loved this place. Loved it!

Loved the fact you could get a flight of 6 beers for $8. All the beers I tried were really good and loved the outdoor patio. We were fortunate to get a table and enjoyed being outside on a nice day. Will go back soon.

This is my favorite pub in Fort Collins. I wish they served legit meals, but the beer is so fantastic I don't might eating elsewhere. We tried a series of pints and were pleased with all of them. The best was undoubtedly the Pub Ale. This is by far the best microbrewery you've never heard of.

Great beers and outstanding service...one of the smaller breweries, but this place has good beers and doesn't charge for samples....

Affordable samplers, great outdoor patio, and friendly, knowledgeable staff. I loved the Eclipse Brown and the Dark Helmet!

Equinox has a nice minimalist pub feel, where the focus is on the beers brewed in-house. Only a couple soft drinks available, and minor snacks. Get served at the bar. I only had time for one after a long day and enjoyed the O'Rion's Red. For a bar the place closes pretty early - generally 8PM during the week and 10PM on weekends. I will have to stop back and try more.
