Our group did 2 things while up there tubing and ski biking. My sister and her husband went tubing and said it was awesome! The staff was fun and made sure they made their rides down the tubing hill and fast and fun as possible! There was a bit of walking from the end of the hill to the lift, but they had a blast! My hubby and I went ski biking in the evening after the mountain had closed. The experience was a blast! I would recommend that you feel comfortable skiing and are proficient if you are going to do this. The guides were fun and we rode through some awesome runs! The mountain at night with no one on it is amazing. The one con is that we were only able to get 2 runs in due to the size of the group and having to keep everyone together. So for an $80 price tag that is a bit expensive. I feel you may get more value out of renting them during the day on your own pace, but then you will lose the nighttime and private feel. I would, despite the price do this again!Following our activities we had cocktails and dinner at Bistro Fourteen which was great! They have a nice selection of beer, wine and spirits and the food was excellent! You do not have to do any of the adventure activities to have a night up on the mountain, so i would recommend a stop in while in the Vail area! The gondola ride down in the evening is beautiful!

Adventure Ridge gives the rest of the family something to do in Vail. I am there to ski and board, but my little guys like the tubing, snow mobiles, ski bikes, bungy trampolines etc.

Our whole family tubed and had a blast!! Staff very helpful and loads of fun. Inner tubes are light weight and easy to get up to the top. You ride an escalator up with them. Fresh snow and gorgeous blue skies.

Had a blast here with the family. It gets cold up on the mountain after sun down so dress warm. Kids will definitely love it.

Loved Adventure Ridge. Our kids enjoyed tubbing, zip lining, and eating at the top of the gondola. After 3:30, trips up the gondola are free. It's a bit pricy to go up before 3:30, if you don't have a lift pass for the day, when you figure you have to pay for most activities up there anyway.

Two of us went ski biking for the first time and loved it. We went on one of the earlier times, so that our first run was in the daylight and then on our second run it was with headlamps and through some trees - I can't wait to do it again!!

Beautiful view and loved zip lining! There was a lot to do during the summer month and even more to do during the winter.

It's for sure one of the greatest experiences I've had!You should go in the late afternoon, so you can start the ride when the sunset is almost over, and finish it when it's totally dark.If you have at least a basic skiing skills, it's not difficult to learn how to ride the snowbike.I regret we let it to the last evening, because then we couldn't do it one more time. :)Definitely worth the money.

My husband and I went to Adventure Ridge with our two grandchildren, ages 12 and 8. It was the first time there for all of us. Under duress, I tried the zipline. I thought I would be scared, but it was not exciting or thrilling at all. It was expensive, though, and that did get my adrenaline going. Then, my husband and two grandkids did the ropes course and it was fun watching them do that. They all loved it! The other activities at Adventure Ridge were horseback (and a pony in a corral) rides, a climbing wall, and a trampoline. I should also mention there is a kid's ropes course for those under 52 inches. I might have forgotten a ride. The Nature Center is free and it's at Adventure Ridge. Because I primarily like to hike and bike at Vail, Adventure Ridge really isn't my thing, but I can see the appeal, particularly for kids. We didn't know that the activities are timed, so buy your tickets in advance. We went up the gondola in the morning and it wasn't as crowded on top. We spent almost $300 for three gondola rides (my husband rode free because of his ski pass), 4 zipline tickets, and 3 ropes courses tickets. We took snacks and water so we didn't buy food which would have made it even more expensive. I guess it was worth trying once, but it wasn't really my thing. The Nature Center is fabulous, though, and we spent a lot of time in there.

Kids loved the Adventure ridge. Gandola ride, Zip-line, Bungy jumping, pony ride was just awesome. Very helpful staff up there.

Best to be the first up when they open, no lines, no waiting. Instructors were very good with instructions and safety. Ropes course for 30 or 60 minutes and three levels, green, blue and black. Me and my 9 year old did the greens and blues and after 45 minutes my arms were tired so stopped. This is self paced and you take the "element sections" you want. Zip line pricey but a fun. Activity and rumor has it they are building canopy tours to zip from tree to tree which makes sense as a world class destination.

After our initial sticker shock of our $200 tickets for our sons to do 3 activities each, plus a gondola ride to top of mountain for the 4 of us, we had a great afternoon. This was first zip experience for both of my sons, ages 10 and 11, and the scenery was stunning. We ended up getting a refund for the ropes course after we were stuck on mountain for an hour b/c of lightening (we ran out of time). The food at the outside grill was surprisingly good and available for $6/head upgrade to the lift ticket. Great views and scenery. Wish we had better weather, and my husband and son have the mountain biking on their "next time list".

We went to Adventure Ridge because it seemed to have something for everyone---we were wrong. Our 8 year old was only able to do baby events and the adult zip line was extremely expensive to only have one line! The one positive was the adult ropes course which our 10 year old loved---our 8 year old was too small. You can find better things to do with your money!!

Had such a great time taking our teenagers to Adventure Ridge! From the Gondola ride overlooking the amazing beauty of Vail to the zip line, it was well worth the money. Especially appreciated the staff on the zip line. I must admit I was a bit anxious and the crew that ran the zip line made me feel relaxed. Austin told me exactly what to expect and was very knowledgeable and funny. I would highly recommend the zip line. The next time I think we'd like to ride the mountain bikes down in addition, we just couldn't fit it all in on this trip.

If you are afraid of heights or are bothered by turbulent airplane rides, then you should avoid the motor tour. It's a bumpy and dusty 45 minutes up to and across the top of the mountain. Great views of Vail Valley and Holy Cross mountain, although the views from the starting point at Adventure Ridge are almost as good. The driver gives some information and history but much of it was incomprehensible above the noise of the engine. The road is narrow in places and a few feet from steep drops.
