If you're a golfer and in the Vail/Beaver Creek area you have to play this course. While both courses are exceptional, I enjoyed this course most.... I will say that it is a bit expensive to play, but well worth it. Beautiful views, friendly staff, the course is exceptionally well kept, I found it a little difficult, but I thoroughly enjoyed it -- and if you like fast greens, you'll like this course. Can't wait to go back.

I played four rounds of golf at Red Sky and enjoyed every round. Both courses are exceptional and the facilities at the club are great too. The club is well staffed with friendly people and the restaurant offers excellent food. I would recommend Red Sky to anyone who enjoys a great round of golf.

My husband played this course over the summer as part of our babymoon and were just blown away by the views. The course was exceptionally well kept and each hole was its own experience, almost isolated from the others by trees and native shrubbery. This course was wide, but had some sand traps that proved to be challenging to get out of. And FAST greens!!!

The course was in good condition and the staff were warm and helpful; the the restaurant had surprising good food (we had lunch); and they also provided personalized, engraved ball markers & bag tags which was a fun add-on. The course is quite pricey for Colorado golf and it did not have the CO ambiance we expected for the price (no tall pines, big boulders etc.). Not sure we'd travel that distance and pay that much to play it again.

My wife and I just completed a two day visit to red sky golf on a package offered by Vail Resorts. The two day visit affords you the opportunity to play each of the courses since one course daily is reserved for members and then changes the next day. We stayed at The Arrabelle in Vail and had a fabulous stay. As to the golf, my wife and I are relatively new golfers and couldn't believe how wonderfully the staff treated us. They made our visit truly memorable. We enjoyed both of the courses, but found the Norman course more forgiving with wide fairways and greens. Putting on both courses was very difficult, but once again we found the Norman greens "easier" having been told that they broke to the valley. Both courses are visually amazing. Do yourself a favor and book a two day golf package with Vail Resorts - I promise you will not be disappointed.

Had dinner on the deck in early July. It was wonderful. Love how you could get a whole dinner or half. Had the tenderloin with mashed potatoes and fresh asparagus. The view was awesome as the sun set. We loved it!

Not as easy as the Fazio course, but better views & faster greens.Double check pin placement as these greens can be 3-4 clubs difference front to back due to size. This is a great course, I have played this gem many times now.

The Red Sky Golf Club in Walcott, Colorado, is by no exagerration amongst the finest courses in all the land. While I have not visited some of greats, I can only compare the course to the likes of Colonial in Ft. Worth and the Barton Creek courses in Austin, Texas. However, I would place a wager that the Norman and Fazio at Red Sky holds its own against any of the challengers. The courses themselves are challenging. While the Norman touts lengthy tee box to fairway distances and double-cut greens the size of UT - Austin tailgates, the Fazio course is a narrow marksman's game with aspen groves and thick grass pressuring players to keep it straight. Another aspect of Red Sky that makes it stand on its own are the facilities. Ice cold bottles of water are located at every 3rd or 4th hole, the bathrooms throughout the course are as nice as the Ritz Carlton's (from experience) and the club house is as spacious as they come. The staff are fantastic, from valet to range staff, from pro shop to restaurant/bar staff. Like the title of my review says, Top Notch.

Fantastic layout, great views, very playable for all skill levels. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The course was is great shape, well kept. It did rain on us like it all ways does in vail around 3:00 but it rolled thru after 30 minutes. All in all a great time highly suggest.

You must be on top of your game for this Top of the World views. Couldn't get better mountain sites with outstanding golf course from tee to greens! Once you finish the course, grab some grub and some colds one at a wonderful clubhouse and bar!

Red Sky has two excellent golf courses, Norman and Fazio. Both courses are in excellent shape with lush fairways and beautiful, large bent grass greens. I thought the Fazio course was a little tougher but both are very comparable. The views of the mountains and great course make for a perfect golf experience. As another reviewer said, ball always breaks toward the valley. We played several other courses in the area but these two were the best hands down. If you want to play both courses you need to play back to back days or skip a day. They offered a deal if you buy both courses up front. (a very good deal)

Some of the best scenery you will ever see on a golf course. You can see for miles in every direction. The course is more target golf than the Fazio. The greens always slope toward the Valley, ALWAYS. It can be a slow round. I have had several 5 hours + if you get behind a slow group. They don't seem to marshall the play as effectively as you experience at many top courses. Beautiful facility and courteous staff.

My wife and I played both the Fazio and Norman courses at Red Sky. We found the Fazio course a bit more playable but both are outstanding. The service is spectacular (valet parking, practice range attendants, etc.). The courses are in great shape and the pace of play is good. The greens are fast and a bit tricky so be patient with the putter. We play a lot of great courses around the country and these two are clearly in the upper tier. If you love golf and stay in the Vail area, these are worth the 20 minute drive.

We played the Fazio Course in July and it was in super condition. The fairways were lush with great roll and the greens were in mint condition. The guys in the pro shop were friendly and accommodating. What a gorgeous course with spectacular views!! I would highly recommend this course if you're in the area. We stayed for lunch afterwards and the food was equally as good. The experience was more like visiting a private golf course. Loved it!

I played the Norman Course and Red Sky is one of the classiest golf clubs. The course had just open for the season and the fairways and greens were in perfect condition. The service was the best I have seen at a golf club
