What a fantastic organization. SKAT makes a kayak outing on the Hudson seamless and enjoyable. Kris is super kind and welcoming, and our tour guide Austin (and his beard!) were super friendly and informative. We had a great time, and highly recommend the sunset tour to anyone looking for a beautiful experience on the water.

Three of us, my husband, son and myself(over 60, 20, under 60 years old), all with very limited kayaking experience took a 3-hour Bannerman's Castle tour. I always admired this part of the river, Hudson Highlands but did not think that kayaking would be as easy as it was - with advice from very friendly guides. It was pure pleasure and I highly recommend it to all my friends.And the castle could be "cast " in any ballet , opera or thriller book as a prototype black magician castle.

We took the 3-hour Kayak Tour for Bannermans Island on Saturday afternoon. Instructions were minimal, but adequate. Equipment was good - stable enough for any level. It is a nice afternoon on the water. Best to do with a group of friends. The guides made us feel safe but were disengaged with the crowd. The historic information on the island was ok.Would possibly go again with a group.

Toured the Hudson river last night by kayak with Storm King Adventures and enjoyed every moment! The office is professionally run and the owners are lovely. We had Cory and Austin as river guides, they knew their stuff, they were always on hand to assist those that had never kayaked before. The group was made up of experienced non-experienced kayakers but the guides brought everyone together, they made it fun all around. I plan to use SKAT again in the Fall when the colors are changing.

We recently took a kayak tour of the Hudson River with Storm King Adventure Tours. Our guide Bree was very knowledgeable and a patient instructor. You see a different perspective of the local surroundings when you are on the Hudson. This is well worth the time and money, a must do if you are in the area!

I have used Storm King Adventure tours 2 times. Once for the Bandermann Hard hat tour and recently for the hidden cove. First the owner is very nice and helpful. The guides are great. They teach you how to Kayak without making anyone feel dumb. They are about having a fun and safe time. The guides know about the area. It is well worth even if you are not in perfect shape.
