Thank you Matt for taking the time to share your enthusiasm for the winter boat. We're glad you enjoyed your stop. Things to look forward to, still to come this winter: Raquette Lake Winter Carnival Feb 14 & 15, ice harvest sometime end of Feb, and end of winter customer appreciation party sometime in March. Check our FB page for update and FMI. You'll have to come see us when we're cruising. The lake affords amazing scenery around every bend, the food is to die for, and Captain Dean's narration is fascinating.Donna

Wow Joanne! After reading your review, I think you were able to cruise yesterday, right? We ended up with about 20 people on that cold, rainy afternoon. I'm not sure exactly why you say we should distance ourselves from Living Social. But at any rate, I'm glad it all worked out and you were able to cruise.Donna

Thank you Alan for your heart-felt remarks. This is the first time we've ever staged a comedy cruise and, as you know, what is funny for one, isn't necessarily funny for another....maybe even offensive. Comedy is a very tricky thing to pull off successfully. We interviewed the restaurant in Long Lake where Steve performed last year. Everyone said he was great. Turns out Steve's sister married into a prominent Long Lake family so there is plenty of buy-in and ownership with that connection. I agree with you that his impersonations were really funny and that he is extremely talented. I too was shocked at how many times I heard the F word.I am pleased that you enjoyed the meal, the scenery the commentary. We hope to see you again in the future. I'm sorry you were offended by the comedian. Donna
