Mirror lake is absolutely gorgeous. Such a beautiful place and worth a visit regardless of where in the world you live. Summer time is spectacular, Autumn foliage is unbelievable. If you like to drive or ride a motorcycle there are plenty of beautiful roads in and around Mirror Lake and the surrounding area as well.

path is cleared for walking or skating around the picturesque lake. you will see people riding down the tobaggan shoot, taking sled-dog rides and playing pond hockey. great old-time community feeling.

beautiful and not crowded. poor quality of ice. you leave your stuff in the car or on the bench nearby...

Went for a walk around the lake in September a beautiful place to be in the fall. Located right in Lake Placid where there are many great small shops. Cant wait to return

Walk around Mirror Lake - just follow the sidewalk 2.7 miles around, going through Downtown Lake Placid with all of the restaurants and shops, and then around the residential side of the lake. A local favorite, year round!

Every place around this town is dog friendly! My two Aussie got to go into so many stores , and do a little swimming . We had a blast ! that trip will not be our only visit to this place

This is a beautiful lake. Lots of wonderful restaurants and bars surrounding the lake. The Toboggan run was excellent. Walking outside in the winter on the lake is beautiful.

The view and bistro was the best food EVA! the service was incredible. we enjoyed the music the atmosphere and would highly recommend it!

The clear, clean lake is a wonderful place to take a dip in the summer or paddle across via kayak or paddle boat. Take in the beauty if the Adirondacks, especially Whiteface Mountain, and pack your camera with you on your boating vessel of choice. We visited in the summer, but hope to try the endless winter sports available soon. There are plenty of places to have a picnic lunch and a variety of restaurants, inexpensive to more upscale, that sit on its banks.

During visiting Lake Placid, visitors can also spent time at Mirror Lake. This area has many lakes but people should see Mirror lake and can enjoy weather.

During the winter, the toboggan shoots are open and there's outdoor skating, too. Even for those not willing to get snow down their backs, it's still perfect for a picturesque walk and a stop for hot cocoa on the way back.

View was great, we did not do the dog sleds on this trip but it is a must in the winter at least once!
