saratoga harness museum and hall of fame

We live in the area and only go to the track once a year. But every time we have out of town guests we take them here. Horse fan or not, there is a lot here for everyone. Who hasn't heard of the great horses, and you can learn more about them in a fun, interactive way.

We walked through the museum in a few hours. It was wonderful. Te staff is very sweet. Tis is a great place for any horse lover to spend some quiet time.

We took our family to this museum to familiarize them with the Sport of Kings! It was great, especially all the displays. There was a room where kids could play dress up. My 26 and 29 year old boys enjoyed that space as well!

For all race fans-historians-owners, breeders, etc…A must do when in Toga:) Children of all ages will enjoy this trip down memory lane.

This is a most amazing museum. From trophies to jockey's silks to paintings, trophies and videos, this is a must-see if you are even only mildly interested in horses or racing.

This is a small museum recalling the history of harness racing in Saratoga through the years.It is located at the opposite side of the the grandstand, at the other end of the parking.It is really worth a stop, even if only interested a little in the harness racing industry and history.The docent at the museum is really interesting and and has great story telling.A must on your Saratoga visit that won't take you much time but you will enjoy for sure.

It gives a history (a long one) of harness racing in Saratoga. An oft forgotten big time entertainment back in the 40's and 50's. Biggest and best show in town.
