gardiner waterfront

I love the Waterfront Park. It is a great place to sit and aborb the beauty of the area or fish or have a picnic or just walk around. There is a large parking lot and a sidewalk for walking. My favorite is watching the moon come up over the Kennebec River. Whenever I go it is always neat and clean.

Well-kept boat launch with docks for easy boat/kayak/canoe access to the Kennebec River. Grassy area and benches for picnic-ing, Frisbee-playing, etc. Paved area with ample parking for boat trailers. The Rail Trail starts here and ends in Augusta, 6-7 miles north. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, ATM and grocery store.

This place has a wide board walk to walk on and enjoy the view of the river and changing trees. There was also paved walking trails and many benches and picnic tables. I also noticed cameras, which gives you a little bit more security.

This landing is well paved and has a lafge wharf area where you can dock a boat or fish for a variety of fresh and salt water fish. It also has a very weel maintained boat launch.If you go to the far left you can fish at the mouth of the Cobbossee Stream. This is a great spot for catching brown trout. You can hang with the locals and enjoy the beauties of Gardiner, Maine.

i offten take my dog to the waterfront to walk and just sit and read,well kept and very relaxing during the day

Easy docking, friendly docking - no one freaks out if you leave your boat to go and eat at either the DEPOT, Pastaz or Reds! Have a brew and dine around Gardiner!

Great place to stripper fish. You can get cold soda, beer , and a pizza at Girrard's. You will be back in time to reel in the catch of the day.
