the nature center there is low key but nice. Occasional programs for families. Can walk down beach to avoid crowds.

Great clean beach with facilities. Huge waves in the winter and fixed path through the dunes. People, keep off the dune please!

We visited here last weekend for a quick hike. Great scenery and nice walking trails. Swimming also available. Get here early for a parking spot.

My 3 girls ages 7, 5, 1 1/2 yr old), niece (11 yrs) and I had a very nice and fun morning there. The nice gal at the Benjamin Family Environmental Center was great! She answered my kids questions, helped them do some leaf rubbings, cute piping plover with cotton balls and toothpicks, and talk about all of the creatures of the area. You have to park at South Shore beach (parking during the week is $12) in little Compton and walk over on a trail leading to the Center. Easy to walk over to and enjoy a short hike. Great hidden gem! We loved it! Thanks!!!
