Finding a place to go and things to do with your teenage sons is a challenge. But we found it at Mammoth Cave Adventures! It's late November so it's not as pretty as it would be in the summer or fall but the thrill is still there! Jason, Nate and Craig took us on the secondary line because the primary is being upgraded. It was so much fun! I'm scared of heights but the staff was professional and made me feel safe. The boys loves zipping and filming with their go pro cameras. Can't wait to go back in the summer. Thanks yAll!!!!

OMG! This was amazing! I could do it all day. The 2 workers were so informative on what to do, how to do it, and when. Safety is utmost important to them. We had a blast! My husband is afraid of heights, but this did not bother him in any way. You can take pictures on one of the lines you go down also. A must do!

Took 3 tours in one day at Mammoth Caves. Violet City Lantern, Historic and Domes and Dips. The Historic tour led by Ranger Jackie was awesome. Very informative and since we had a small group he really explained lots to us. It is a 2 hr tour with lots of walking, climbing and for a bit squeezing through some tight spaces. No big deal if you are in good or ok shape. The domes tour led by Ranger Michael was where you really see stalactites and stalagmites. Really beautiful. Again some climbing, lots of walking but no big deal if you are in ok shape. Now the Violet City Lantern tour I am somewhat torn about. It is a 3 hr walk with tons of walking and climbing. But... Only 12 get to have lanterns and what happens is the lantern people ultimately end up in the front or rear and it is really hard to see. I think it is very cool to have the lanterns and it lends a different ambience to the tour but after an hour or so they should turn on the lights because you really can't get a feel the the massive size of the caves. If you took one of the other tours first and then the violet city it might be ok. Ranger Rick was our guide on the violet city and he too was awesome. All the guides were informative and funny. They really made the trips funIt confuses me that people complain the trips were hard or too much walking. Everyone is told several times about the conditions on the trips. Important to remember the caves are in the CENTRAL time zone.

My wife and I grabbed the Groupon deal and we were glad to have scored a chance at this little gem. Because it is off the beaten path a bit, the natural setting is barely touched by the ziplines and the staff are humorous, knowledgeable and ready to help out (if not a bit lax toward each other). My wife and I had a great time and a good laugh with our guides. We wish we would have bought a second round of the Groupon for a night time zip-tour.

Friendly staff, equipment was up to date. Nice set up through trees with 5 line course for people over 100 lbs and 3 for smaller ones. Then adults and/larger kids meet up with smaller ones to do last 2 lines together. Make sure you take 10% or $5 off coupon that can be found in several local booklets as it's a little pricey ($60 or $40)

Truly enjoyed the course and our guides simon and Cory were fantastic. They were short staffed but more than made up for on the course. There were some time constraints and the boys got us on the lines as quick as possible so we could all enjoy our time.

Our family had a fun time at Mammoth Cave Adventures. For the first time, my ten-year-old daughter tried horseback riding and zip lines. She especially loved her horse, shortyThank you for a positive experience!

Went zip lining for the first time ever last week. Our guides, Nate and Simon, were amazing. They made the experience so much fun. I was nervous going out but they calmed me simply by their demeanor. They have 5 awesome lines with some climbing and a short hike up to the next zip line. Their equipment is in excellent shape and they instruct you how to put on the equipment. Safety is high on their priority list and at no time were we untethered, except to zip of course! My niece and sister in law went horseback riding. It was my niece's first horseback riding experience and the guide tethered his horse to hers (named "Pickle"). She had a great time and we even got to see them along the trail while we zip lined. They offer a drop tower and tarzan swing too.Their facility is clean and organized. Rest rooms are clean. Everyone we dealt with was friendly. Their prices are reasonable and give a military discount for the service member (which is totally cool). HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We were in area to see mammoth cave tours and had time for other activities. We decided to try zip line for first time with 2 eleven year old girls. It was either here or the action park. So happy we chose here. From the second we walked through the office door, it was the best time for all of us. Everyone who worked there was so nice, the place is so clean, operation is organized, bathrooms are a clean environment . Our zip line guides were the greatest, I was a little scared a out taking that first leap and they were awesome. It was solo much fun. My husband doesn't like to spend money but when we were done, he was the one who said that we needed to tip the guides. We wish we had more time to do the tower drop or swing or horse back riding...we will just have to come back.

Only 2 of us on this Zip with our guides, Jason & Haley. They were loads of fun and very professional. We had Zipped before, in Alaska, and they took my puns in stride. The gear is great, and the lines were nice for lower USA Zip opportunities. A couple of the platforms could use some attention, but are safe... We also did the giant swing - what a rush. Great way to finish the event. I wanted to do the whole thing again the next day, but we had other engagements. Did not have reservations, and were the last 2 for the day. Worked out great for us.

We enjoyed a wonderful 1 hour trail ride at 3:00 pm today. We were able to just walk in without reservations and 10 minutes later we were saddled up and on the trail! The staff is truly sweet and you can tell they take terrific care of the horses which says a lot. The horses were very well behaved and relaxed which made for a great ride.

This was our first time zip-lining for my wife and I. Mammoth Cave Adventures is a great place for all, including beginners. My wife had enough after the 5 zips on the is your, but I think it would be good to have a few more options, including more lines. The facilities were really nice, organization was flawless and the entire staff was extremely pleasant, especially both our guides: Steve & Tyler.Would recommend this to anyone in the area!!

We went Ziplining last year at our state of Indiana and we enjoyed it. We did it again this summer at Mammoth Cave Canopy Zip Line and our guides Steve and ? ( forgot the other guides name. They are wonderful and fun, it's our 9 year old grandson's first experience and he was really scared, but they made it more fun for him , with the way they explained everything, he did the primary course with us with 15 lbs back pack so he can make it all the way, being just around 60 lbs. I highly recommend this place, it's a great experience, money well spent. Of course don't forget gratuity, they well deserve it!
