rusty wallace racing experience

I received this as a Christmas gift. I was one of the best Christmas presents ever. I did the 5 lap ride along, received a video of ride along and photos with the car. Its amazing the speed, force and sounds in a race car. I hope to do different tracks in the coming future.

Had a great time. Did the 12 lap race experience but now that I've done it , I need to do it again. The initial experience was good but a learning experience for sure. I thnk the second time I could do much better and go faster etc , now knowing how it all works and more about the cars and how to drive them better. It is pricey so I'd for sure wait until you see the 50% off coupons on the internet.

Oct 5, 2014 The staff was great, pleasant and informative with all information from how to get booked, what package you wanted. The driving class prior to getting into the cars was very clear and precise on their expectations of you as a driver and what was expected. The three lap tour of the track with a pro driver at race speeds enhanced the experience, giving you vital information allowing faster lap times and finding a comfortable groove to drive in for my 10 laps. The spotters were great about giving you information on your closing speeds on slower cars and allowing you to pass when safe. I will go back next year and go for the 20 lap plus package. And bye the way girls there were plenty of women out there driving. This was in the top five life experiences. By the way I spent 32 years as a firefighter in Indianapolis and had a few life experiences an this is really up there!

I had an absolutely amazing time during my time at Sparta. The staff was so pleasant every step of the way. So much detailed information was given during the drivers meeting that I felt very confident climbing into a NASCAR for the first time. I will definitely keep an eye out on groupon to do this again. The only thing I recommend that could be better, is the communication with the spotter. The ear pieces were too loud in my helmet. It was like having someone yell right in my ear from 2 feet away. It made it difficult to understand instructions at times.

I bought this for my husbands birthday, it was a dream of his. Thanks to a coupon, I was able to afford it :). It was awesome! The staff was great and fun. He got to ride for 3 laps with a professional and then drive 10 on his own. We got a video and a tshirt. I may have to get one for myself now, because it was such a thrill. Definitely recommend for Nascar lovers or just for anyone, because its a great experience.

I did the 5-lap ride-along and it was AMAZING! The turns were the best part because you're going so fast that you feel like you're going to fly off the track! My driver said we went 150 mph, so I can't imagine going (on average) 30 mph faster and adding 20 or so other cars to the mix. Gave me a whole new appreciation for the skill required to be a professional race car driver. Had a GREAT time! Check-in process was simple and I only had to wait about 15 minutes after I got my suit on until it was time to go. Would love to do it again, only for many more laps next time!

I was fantastic. I say anyone who likes to go fast would love it!! There is nothing I disliked about it at all!

I'm not a NASCAR (or roller coaster) fan but when I saw the Groupon for 3 laps ride-along, I figured I'd better try this experience. Check-in was simple, just sign a few waivers (hmmm), get a numbered ticket, and check in with a guy on pit road. Grab a suit and a helmet, and wait 10 or so minutes for your number to be called. Get your picture snapped sitting on the door, then the buckler straps you in and soon after, out you go. The speed seemed amazing to me, could not believe the car could hold the corners at the speed we were going, and several times ran right beside the wall although I'm sure not as close as it felt. Maybe 8 or so cars running on the track in total, not all at once since there are always some changing riders. Definitely got the race experience with other cars on the track that we passed or passed us. This was a great experience - glad I survived, and personally wouldn't do it again, but for the Groupon price it was definitely worth my time and money. Afterward, it was fun to stick around afterward and take a bunch of pics and movies with my camera from right behind pit road.

6 laps just didn't seem to be enough. I want more, I want more. Fantastic crew. Everyone knew what was going on. Very helpful and just made the experience fun.

This was the best experience EVER. The safety training was the springboard to an even better day. The ride-along with the experienced driver can be used all by itself, but I used this as a pre-race as I was driving alone. LET THE RUBBER EAT! The earbuds connecting me to the NASCAR and/or Formula One spotters let me know EXACTLY what was happening, when a new driver was entering the track, when I could pass, and when I could FLY! The picture plaque and video were just icing to a perfect day.Don't be fooled. You suit up, helmet up, harness down, and roll with the big dogs.

If you like NASCAR and/or like to go fast I definitely recommend this experience! It was a birthday gift for me and I did a 3 lap ride along and then the 6 lap driving experience. It was very fun and very exciting! They do a great teaching session prior to going out so you feel prepared for what you are doing and then take good care of you to ensure your safety at all times. I enjoyed having other cars out there and being able to pass people, which my spotter helped me do. I got the video after and that turned out great as well. My only complaint would be the wait time. I was the last driver in my time slot to go out and there were actually a couple in the time slot after me who went out before me, but it was worth the wait!

Didn't think it could be better than my expectations...but it was! I can't believe it! Wish I had done it years earlier. The ride along got me prepared to take the track in my own car. I look forward to a return visit. Thanks for the ride of a lifetime!

If you are a fan of speed then I HIGHLY recommend the Rusty Wallace Racing Experience! WOW, was this awesome and an experience I will remember for the rest of my life! I did the 10 lap shootout racing experience and added 4 extra laps(Highly Recommended, you won't regret it). Staff was extremely nice and helpful, and made my first racing experience one to remember!

An amazing experience! My wife and daughters got me this package for Christmas. The experience was all done at the Sparta Kentucky Speedway track. Just show up they provided all the safety equipment. The experience far surpassed my expectations. The spotters realize when you are having fun as well and play into the racing experience very well. The spotters liked my performance well enough they requested me to wave to them in the tower when I got out the car. I've never driven a race car before and loved every second I was in this amazing machine. I would recommend this to anyone that enjoys cars and a good adrenaline rush.

Had a 1:00 appointment and arrived at 12:15 pm. Stood in line till 1:15 to register. There was one person checking in many drivers. At 2:00 had the driving class. Came back to stand in line again for a suit. Then you had to wait for a helmet. Medium helmets were few and far between. At 4:00 then we were told to go stand in line and grab the first helmet you saw. Kind of like standing in line at the grocery store and the person behind you got to go ahead of you. Went to see about a refund or to reschedule and told them that the communication sucked. She said they announced that they were three hours behind due to an incident earlier. The whole time we were in line, never heard an announcement. Drivers were still waiting at 4:00 to drive from a 12:00 appointment. Hope Rusty sees this and can make his Rusty Wallace Experience worthy instead of a Rusty Wallace All Day Experience. What a waste of time.
