This experience could not have been more perfect. Our guides were professional, knowledgeable, and safety conscious, not to mention, fun. The brief safety tips and rules were well presented, and the put it/pull out was efficient and safe. Our rapids were class 3 which was just right and thrilling for our group of 11 beginners. The scenery was breathtaking, the weather was stellar and our guided history lesson down the river was very enjoyable. Each guide tapped into each groups personality and fun was had at all levels (as we were two families with 7 teens). Montana River Photography took photos at the most thrilling rapid. That was an unexpected treat, as was the ice cold beer, water and hospitality offered back at the base. All around great experience. I would highly recommend this cool group of folks for any Montana river adventure.

We were a group of five and none of us had been on a rafting adventure before. Our guide, Tom, was amazing. His knowledge of the river and the rapids was awesome. Before we got on the river, he was very thorough in his instruction. We weren't very prepared in our clothing choices, as it was a last minute decision on our part to do this. They had 'dry jackets' for our use, which kept us comfortable on the trip. Once we got on the water, he was very firm in his instruction to us in going through the rapids. We would do this trip again in a heartbeat with this amazing organization!! Thanks Tom for a great day!!!

My first time rafting and I have to admit a little nervous.. No reason for that, our tour guide Shawn and the tour guide for the other boat Andrew put me and everyone else at ease. Great safety instructions and made sure every life jacket was on correctly. I was so at ease you would never have know it was the first time. I think I am hooked. Thank You for a first class experience truly appreciate it!!!!

From the minute our raft hit the water we knew we were in for a fun time. The preparation, including instruction, safety and what to expect was professional. it was obvious the guides have years of experience in the rivers in Montana and many place around the world.i'l be back!

I've rafted several times, but this was the first for the rest of our family. Zoo Town Surfers provided an outstanding first experience. They put safety above everything else, which helped our group feel more comfortable from the outset. We did the Alberton Gorge full day trip, which included some thrilling moments, plenty of wildlife, and a delicious a lunch. There were also a couple times to relax, where we enjoyed by floating down the river. Our guide, Zach, was constantly attentive to creating the experience we were hoping for. They have one other plus if your base is Missoula. They are located nearby, so the drive isn't too long, they can customize the launch time, and get you on the water more quickly.

Been down the Alberton Gorge with this group twice - they are a fun, safe and very friendly group. They know the water like no one else and make the trip delightful.
