There is something for everyone in the great outdoors of the Flathead Valley. Meadow Lake Resort is right in the middle of it. The local people are so friendly and helpful if you ask.
2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, balcony with BBQ,fireplace, excellent TV, wifi, 2 miles from great grocery store, 2 miles from fun Casinos, beautiful views, on the golf course, excellent restaurant, 20 minutes from great skiing at Whitefish Mountain Resort. It sounds like I am writing a commercial, but this place really does have it all, including very friendly staff.
Gorgeous setting. Condo was super clean and decorated like a dream. Views were peaceful and pleasant. We had a fireplace with wood supplied. A grill on the balcony was a great addition to a very well-equipped and nice kitchen. Good tv and wireless. Great bathrooms. There was a ceiling fan in the living room and a portable fan in the second bedroom. Both of these were nice touches, but couldn't make up for the fact that the only a/c unit was in the master bedroom which, had we done much cooking in, would not have sufficed. It was really nice to be able to open the windows later in the day and get that Montana fresh air, but even at the time of year we were there, air conditioning would have been helpful even if only for the heat of the kitchen and the shower humidity in the second bathroom. The staff here were terrific and we loved everything else so much that we would not hesitate to recommend.
My wife and I stayed here for a week in a 2 bedroom condo. The condo was spotless, large, comfortable, and very well equipped. The staff at the office was extremely responsive, both at the front and concierge desks.I did not play golf. But looking at the course as an ex-golfer, it looked to be in great shape and like a fun course. The resort is perfectly situated to jump off to Glacier National Park and other recreational pursuits. It would be a fun place to take your family.I have only good things to say about the place.
We stayed here 2 nights on a "time share opportunity" with a free round of golf for $ 199.00. They booked us in the hotel in room #7 (main floor) Upon arrival, we dined at the restaurant and had a very good meal, generous portions and excellent quality. After dinner we decided to try out the hot pool and swimming pool. The hot pool was cold and the indoor swimming pool was closed due to repairs. So, we decided to forget about it. Our first night sleep was a night of waking up constantly, a very noisy room with people above us walking and banging around off and on all night and noise in the hallway. The top floor might be a bit less noisy, but avoid being beside stairways and hallways. The building is very poorly built and renovating has not improved on the noise. After we complained at reception, they were able to let us use one of the Condo units (1 became magically available, after we were told they were all filled at the time of booking)The unit was nice with a King bed and Jacuzzi tub, separate shower and toilet. However, we were surprised to see the carpet very stained. The person who owns this unit and pays their yearly maintenance fee is not being treated very fair. This was building #12, one of the newer buildings and already it looked aged with low-quality furnishings. The best thing was that we had a better sleep. We had a 90 minute presentation to try and get us to buy into this resort for $ 30,000 (for 1 week yearly) NO THANK YOU. The golf course was nice to play at, we were lucky to have a beautiful fall day as well. The area is nice, but there are better places to stay.
We enjoyed our stay while visiting Glacier NP. The room was comfortable, but a bit noisy. I suggest asking for a room on the top floor. The restaurant/bar on site is great after a long day of hiking. We booked the room on Expedia and received a good rate for the level of quality and services the resort provided.
We stayed at the resort and ate there several times for dinner. Pizzas were great and meals were generous in size. You will not be disappointed.
Golf course is well groomed. Access to the SPA, Sauna & Pool even in March are great experiences and leave you with a rounded day of enjoyment. The pool/sauna area is a great placeo to meet withother travelers & share experiences as well as get recommendations on local "hot spots."
The views are very nice and the ammenities are nice. The WiFi may be better than some in Montana, but it's much slower than what we're used to in the midwest. Lower units are subject to a lot of outside noise if upstairs units have tennants.
Always a great place to play golf when vacationing in Whitefish. All our group loves playing this course. Only complaint is that the restaurant doesnt open until 4pm, so that forces our group to go elsewhere for lunch after our game. Remember to look in the local newspaper for a $10 coupon off your golf fees. We will golf here everytime we are in the area.
We loved this place! We are golfers so having a wonderful course right there was awesome. Our studio condo over looked the 13th hole and it was well appointed and comfortable. Great bed, great sheets, kitchen, bathroom, everything we needed in the condo. Front desk was very friendly and helpful when we needed anything. We enjoyed the spa on site as well for massages. The location is very good, close to the main road to get to Kalispell or Whitefish. The grounds were beautiful, very well maintained and beautiful flowers everywhere you looked. Had a wonderful supper at the restaurant on site - Trudy's. The pizza was amazing. We will definetely be back!!
Stayed four nights and three days at the Lakemeadow Resort over the 4th of July. The location from the resort to Glacier Park is great but the amenities are lacking for a resort if you're interested in something other than golf. Tried to rent three bikes (two adults and one tall teenager) to ride around the resort, they only had two adult and one kid's bicycle. The person who checked us out did not bother to mention one was a kids so one of the adults stayed back. If you're staying in the inn there is no guest laundry within the building, you have to get in a car and drive over to some other area to do laundry. The housekeeping basically makes your bed and takes out the trash. I believe in reusing towels but it would be nice to get new wash cloths daily, I guess I need to leave a note. Most of the front desk staff seem unfamiliar with not only the resort but other on goings in the local area, for a resort this should be something the front desk should be able to answer if the concierge is not in. The pool was ok, the outside pool and hot tub could use some cleaning. If I come back to the area I'll spend the extra money to stay in Whitefish.
We had a week at Meadow Lake staying in a timeshare at NeNastako Village. It was awesome. Two bed, two bath, full kitchen, clean and great furniture. Our own personal hot tub wow!!! Ate at Truby's 3 times excellent food and restaurant. 5 mins from excellent supermarket. Close to park entrance, Whitefish and Kallispell. Would recommend to anyone. Fabulous.
Meadow Lake has a great location, easy access to west glacier, whitefish, kalispell, big fork , just minutes from airport.awesome staff, easy check in, the beauty and cleanliness of this resort is top notch, great amenities and all needed services close by
Stayed here for our honeymoon for a week. Great, central place to visit Glacier National Park. The rooms are a little dated, but they are still very comfortable and gave us a good place to stay during our visit. The fireplace was really nice to have in the room, and we felt the studio condo was perfect for 2 people. The front desk staff was wonderful and very nice. We would recommend staying here during a vacation to Glacier.
