My family has mined for sapphires over the years and I felt it was time to have something made with our gems. I met with the owner and was given many ideas before I made my decision. The result was beautiful and the ring I had made is well done and one of a kind. I will return to have future items made.

The Sapphire Studio is small and quiet. They get their tailings from the Phillipsburg area. Everything is provided for you to have a successful experience. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. After you have found your sapphires and/garnets, the staff sorts and grades your findings. They recommend which pieces you should have heat treated and faceted into jewlry. They also have a mail order business that you can purchase materials if going to Montana is not an option.
