I traveled here from Texas to introduce my wife to a little trout fly fishing. Arriving in early June, most of the rivers were "blown out" due to the late winter snow and high run off from the mountains. Explaining to Matt that I really wanted to get my wife a chance to do some fly fishing, he sat with us for at least an hour making phone calls, trying to find us a safe place we could enjoy. Matt ended up finding us a guide (Dave Goff) at the last minute, arranging our fishing licenses and the next day we headed to the Madison River. We had a blast!! Both myself and my wife caught a few rainbows and brownies and the weather and river were perfect. Dave (our guide) was very patient and very informative as we drifted along the river for about 6-8 hours.....he even drove us there and took back roads to show us some of the scenic Montana beauty. I can't say enough for both Matt and the other guys at the shop and Dave, our guide!! It was a trip to remember forever.
