I had no idea we had 425,000 German & Italian POW's in this country during the war. It was a fascinating museum complete with artifacts from the camp, an excellent DVD presentation of interviews with POW's, guards and towns people and a wonderful curator who answered every, single one of my questions.

This museum is really a gem which needs to be visited by anyone interested in World War Two history. The story of how America cared for German POWs during the war is interesting and the story of the service of the citizens of Aliceville during the war us superb. Take the time to visit this museum! The rare 1940s Coca-Cola bottling equipment on display is unique as well and very interesting.
