Pickwick Lake and the TN River are most beautiful. Beats anything we've seen on the east coast. Look forward to returning here.

Boats can be rented, the lake is so big all matter of water sports and fishing available. cabins, rooms to stay in all sorts of restaurants to eat at. museums national battle fields, all within a few miles of each other.

Pickwick Lake is large enough that even with many boats on the lake it is not crowded. Water is clean and easy to tube or ski. Fun for the whole family!

Spent a week on Pickwick in a rental house in Waterloo Alabama. We rented a pontoon boat from Eastport Marina. House was through VRBO, everything was great the VRBO owner arranged a shuttle for us to rent the boat so we didn't have to drive around the lake. The lake is beautiful with lots of places to stop lots of wildlife and beautiful scenery. Definately recommend this area.

Have a lot of customers let have cabins around Pickwick Lake that is also around Pickwick Dam and J. P. Colman State Park - TN. AL. & MS. On the Tennessee River. Everyone loves what this area offers, come just all of it out. You will not be disappointed!

This is a great lake for boating, fishing, waterskiing, pontoon riding/sight seeing and jet skiing. I cant remember a time that I have been on this lake or look out onto this lake where I didn't see it as one of the most beautiful sights in Alabama.
