arkansas post museum

If you're going to the excellent Arkansas post national memorial then this is practically 10 minutes on the road beforehand, so why not stop and check it out? It's a relatively low key and smaller museum by the standards of others, but it is worth seeing. Utterly charming series of buildings you can walk in and out of. Takes about 30 minutes tops. If you're going to the national park anyway, then give this place a half hour of your time.

Lots of authentic to area artifacts. Small place that packs in the stuff that was true to this area. I think they even have my grandfather's bear trap from many many years back. Tough men settled this area and these are the things that prove it.

The inside museum was kinda nice, but the outside was just markers where things used to be

Loved the museum. We didn't have time to watch all of the programs, but it was very enlightening. We plan to go back again next season.
