We stopped here after visiting Horseshoe Canyon Ranch because we wanted to see the natural waterfalls. It is a very steep and long drive, your brakes will be very hot, but it was worth it. The hike was actually pretty short after the drive down and even though it's been very dry lately, the waterfalls were still flowing. I'd definitely recommend checking it out if you are in the area. We also hiked to the top of the waterfalls, which was very neat as well.

We headed from Fort Smith to Jasper and I don’t know the exact route we took, but it was up/down and left/right. I was worried about my brakes and my transmission. In fact as we got about 3 miles from the final paved road to the falls a semi had went off the side rail so that was a long delay. Just be extra careful, drive slow and enjoy the views if you go that route. Once we got to the rock road for the falls I questioned taking my car down it, the information we had about them stated an AWD or pick-up and I can understand why. The road I’m guessing is pretty slippery if there has been rain, a few high spots in the road needed avoided and it’s a very narrow road so you need to yield to other vehicles in most spots. Also the grade of the road is relatively steep in spots which would probably give rear wheel drive cars fits. We had no issues with our front wheel drive car. However if you make it down the road the falls are well worth it. Very cool!I enjoyed the remoteness, but I wonder why the state doesn’t improve the road so it can be accessed by all at all times. Little signage, so pay attention.

Finding the falls was tricky, not knowing exactly which cut off to travel. Of course we chose the wrong one! It is the road to Camp Orr boys out camp road!!! Mist people have noted the rough road. This road was a piece of cake compared to one we were on in West Virginia!! It was a nice hike to the falls. All three falls were flowing, but the third was a trickle due to Jo recent rainfall. Beautiful. We hiked up to the top of the falls also.

The road leading to the falls was a little rough. Once we got to the falls it was worth the trip. Beautiful falls. You can get right up to the falls. Would recommend this to anyone who likes water falls.

Make sure to follow all signs for the boy scout camp & you will then see the parking area for the falls. The walk was quite muddy so have shoes on that you're ready to mud up. It is an easy, short walk. Loud water!! Nice, cool spray. It's worth the drive down the gravel, bumpy road. We were 4 wheel in a truck, but other 2wd cars were on the road too. Watch out for the goats!

The road is a bit rough but I've driven a Lexus LS430 and a LS460 in the mud and rain with little problem so no, you do not need a 4 wheel drive truck unless you don't know how to drive on muddy roads.

Beautiful! The walk to the falls was very easy although it took a four wheel drive truck to access the trailhead. Definitely worth it!

Thanks to the tips of others, we drover a four wheel drive truck to the trail head. I was glad we had it, although my husband said that with the road dry we could have made it in the car. This would have been a lot prettier in a wetter season, but it was still worth going to see. Information I read said that there is always some water because two of the falls are spring fed, even when other waterfalls in the area are dry, but there wasn't any more water than there was at Eden Falls this weekend. Walking up to the top of the falls was fun, and might not have been practical when there was more water. The falls is a short distance from the parking lot, so if you don't like to hike far, this would be a good trip. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't as fabulous as some of the other hikes in the area we went on.

This is located about 7 miles outside of Jasper. We have a SUV but you really need a four wheel drive truck to make it on the road you turn off of to see this. It's unpaved, dirt road with huge holes and very steep. I was surprised that no one has improved this road. There's also no signage and luckily I had researched this ahead of time to find it. You will head down to Camp Orr Boy Scout and wonder if you are going the right way. At the bottom of the hill was a small dirt parking space and a tiny sign that pointed to the trail. We took our water and sprayed for bugs and headed out. The trail is flat and only took about 10 minutes to get to the waterfall. After a big rain I understand there are three but on June 21 we had twin falls and they were flowing slowly into a pool of water. Wonderful to see and the water was cold to wade in. Going back up this road to leave was difficult. I wasn't sure we were going to make it. Again I would recommend going to see this if you have a vehicle to handle this tough descent.

We hiked to Triple Falls (which is also known as Twin Falls) on a rainy morning in May. We were hopeful the falls would be running strong, but that was not the case. They were still beautiful, and the hike is short and easy. After enjoying the view, we hiked to the top of the falls, which was just slightly more difficult and gave another perspective. There are no facilities and the parking area is small. There are also no posted signs telling you anything about directions. Take the Kyle's Landing/Camp Orr Scout Camp road at Mt. Sherman, then turn right one mile down on the road to Camp Orr. Go another two miles to the trail to the falls. The road is steep and potholed.

One of the few waterfalls easily accessible n this area. The road to the falls is steep and rough but the falls are only a few hundred feet from the parking area. A must see when in the area.

We visited the falls back in July 2012, but there was only water dripping over moss (Arkansas hadn't had much rainfall). We kept an eye over the next few months on the rainfall and planned our second trip accordingly. Incredible idea. Suggestions: · Drive a vehicle with 4x4 (the road is really rough and about 5 miles long)· Visit the falls during winter or fall time to avoid bugs!· Check the weather and go after a rainstorm or large snow fall. You will not be disappointed!!

I camped out here several years ago. Primitive camping no dedicated areas. From the camping area the hike is beautiful and you can rest with your feet in the water enjoying the scenery. Take some drinking water and a hiking stick. And i'm betting there is no cell service- pretty remote

When the water is flowing, the falls are gorgeous!
