chalk bluff park

Civil War Battlefield in Northern Arkansas. The St. Francis River is at the north side of the park. Picnic area well kept with a playground for the kids.

Beautiful walking trails through the woods and towards the river. I enjoyed the signs along the walk and the multiple trail options. Interesting piece of history.

While this park is very small by CW park standards it is nice to see if you in interested in the Civil War in Arkansas and Missouri. It is located on the banks of the St, Francis River with Ark on one side and Missouir on the other. There is a short walking trail, pavillion with picnic tables and restrooms. Never very crowded.
