rough meadows wildlife sanctuary

We biked through the sanctuary and had a great time. Lots of places to watch birds, and beaches are great. This place was not crowded when we went in September so we had a lovely time. We picnicked on the beach and watched tons of shore birds.The bathrooms were immaculate compared to most public toilets.

We drove down a rough patch of road hoping to see something interesting. You would have to walk into the woods probably to see anything. It was getting dark, so we didn't. There were signs that allow hunting in certain areas, so not recommended for nature walks during hunting season.
