I'd never picked or even seen a blueberry busy prior to visiting Frog Eye Farm. The owners are genuinely nice and you're encouraged to sample the berries from each busy you want to pick from as they taste different on different bushes. It was a lot of fun and we have a freezer full of fresh frozen blueberries now to get us through the dreary winter months. They do have hats you can use or take your own. The gnats were a little bothersome but it was totally worth it! I'll be back again next year in early July.

We ventured out to pick berries here on a Saturday afternoon, the staff was welcoming, friendly and informative. The blueberry bushes were filled with berries (and this was mid-afternoon), and they open at 8AM! All of their blueberries are grown pesticide & chemical free, all organic methods. Make sure you bring your own containers and wear sunscreen. We will be returning, if not this year, definetly next! They are just minutes away from Harpers Ferry and a handful of wineries, I could easily picture a full day trip to make the long ride worth while! FYI-they currently only accept cash or check.
