I love this pub, the way everyone is so close together makes for more interesting conversations and quicker friendships. I always have a great time there.

Pack your rucksacks kid, board that plane and get on down to the Snug! I've only been in Antigua a few days but already this is my favourite place to hang out, meet new people and kick back with a cervasa or two. The crowd here is great, this may in fact be the friendliest bar I have ever been too... and I go to a lot of bars!Seriously guys, get on down there - say hey to danielle and Laurie (they're both pretty damn hot) - and make some brand new friends! The staff are awesome, the beers cold and the floors wooden (I dig wood)... whats not to like?!

Bartenders are amazing, really fun place to hang out! Owners are really friendly, great music, great prices great people!!!

The name fits this cool little bar well, small, intimate, a lot of fun, you walk in alone and walk out having either made new friends or at least had some interesting conversations. Friendly bar staff too.

Snug is small and cozy, frequented by locals, xpats and tourists alike. Just a drinking joint, live music, and a great fun crowd any night (or afternoon) of the week. If you are looking for the party, this should be on your hit list for sure. Also dog friendly.

The Snug is a perfect example that bigger is not always better. The bar seats 8 and The Snug usually has about 20-25 at night and packed. A great place to meet local gringos. And the food served from next from the Travel Menu is also excellent with a good price.The Snug serves 13Q Bravha beer while other places are 16-22-25 Q for the same beer. GREAT friendly atmosphere.

This new bar is a great addition to Antigua. Rory & Lauri are great hosts and the cozy, quaint atmosphere is one that can't be duplicated. You're certain to run into someone you know if you are an Antigua local, and if you're not, then you will for sure meet some fun, new people! My husband loves that they have Guinness and I love that they have free peanuts when you order a drink!! We will continue to patronize The Snug because and highly recommend it to anyone that asks for a good bar in town.

What can be said about a place that offers great prices, a cozy atmosphere, terrific service, and owners who pay attention to detail, people's need of a good time, and the best conversation you will find in any Antigua bar. Being an authentic IRISH Pub does not hinder its attraction as well. If you are arriving into town and want to meet great people fast, Lori and Rory can make this happen. Further, they have the best Hamburgers in town that are HUGE and are closely followed by their rival Travel Menu (which will be an upcoming review). So go in, throw some darts, play some games, drink a bit, have a pickled shot !!!
