It is nice place to stroll, I visited it at night to see the sculptures done a famous local artist. The statues were colourful and expressive but the lighting on the sculptures is bit poor …. When I visited, some ponds did not have water. The good point is that there were attendants around and the entrance was free.

During the day, it is just a city square... A car park. But in the evening the whole area becomes a market place. Plenty of street food, and stalls selling clothes, and most everything else too.

I have not been here at Christmas, but I have seen pictures of the huge Christmas tree. Freedom Park is a great place to go. In the evening, it is around the corner from the night market. Many people sitting and chatting, children playing..it is a nice place to go and watch people, or maybe go and be watched yourself! hahaha

When Christmas time comes, this place sparkles like no other place in the city. The giant Christmas tree is placed and lighted here. Food stall are just around their designated corner. Security guards are all around in plain clothes. So entertainment, relaxation the everyone's security is in this area.Nice place to stay.
