You'll appreciate this place more if you're a fan of Jose Rizal.Thank you to the government of Dapitan for improving this area to preserve our history.A good place to take pictures!

The location is great, clean and peaceful. The beautiful sea at the background of the statues. You must visit this place on sunset.

Historical indeed. The place is quite and not the usual busy tourist spot. Nice place together with a view of the sea.

Liked *It's free. *There's a tour guide and it's free also. It's hard not to give him something for his time. *Easy to get to and it's pretty close to the Airport.

When you're in Dapitan City, this is a good spot where you can see the sun as it sets. I love to just sit in here and relax.

It was a relatively new attraction in Dapitan. And I find it very calm and scenic. The beach was clean and serene. I love the sculpture it was very artistic. The boulevard was very quiet and very peaceful. Actually the whole city is. Very far peaceful compared to Dumaguete and Dipolog's boulevards.

We visited Dapitan to introduce our six year old grandson to a bit more of his Philippine heritage. At a very young age he is developing a keen interest in Dr. Jose Rizal.He was delighted to visit the actual spot where Dr. Rizal landed to commence his period of internal exile. The larger than life size figures and boat appealed to him. He was pleased to have his photo taken there.Although I have visited this site several times previously, I returned again by myself later that day. I now understand better what my eyes were witnessing.Do go and see for yourself!

As a traveler it would be nice to have a little history about the destination you are looking forward to go. Dapitan City gives you the history and heritage of our National Hero Dr. Jose Rizal.
