We were going to visit as it was recommended so much. However, as we strolled past on the beach there were two very forlorn looking little monkeys chained up on a small platform. Decided not to give such people our custom.

What a great way to end a day by the pool. Treat yourself to some local flavor. We had the Jerk wings, amazing. And then the lobster. If you are lucky, Sunshine will serve you!!!

Personally met Sunshine a couple days ago & he invited us for lunch, sadly we ended up missing him that day we popped in. Had the Jerk wings, Lobster salad & the Ribs platter for lunch, however while it was tasty, the staff wasn't as friendly as expected at a beach bar/restaurant. They lacked the warm and vibrant vibe that I've been hearing so much about. More than twice we had to call for service like a next round of drinks, they definitely need to improve on customer service & relations. Overall the setting is "irie cool" and the sea is just a few foot steps away, perfect for a killer bee in hand and toes in sand kind of day.

While the food was ok, the pricing was outrageous: $20 for a fish sandwich! However, beer is reasonably priced. Staff was efficient, but indifferent. Would not go back

Our lunch was great - very tasty - a chicken sandwich and a fish sandwich. The view was terrific but felt that the meal was overpriced.

This time I swore I would have no more than 2 Killer Bees, and I would drink something non-alcoholic in-between. And I did it, though it's hard, when they signature cocktail is so delicious and refreshing and deceptively LETHAL! But it's not just drinks here. It's a good lobster salad sandwich and a friendly, mellow vibe that invites you to linger long after lunch is over.

Sunshine's is a beach bar without the crowds. You can sit inside or out. Sunshine himself is there and is happy to talk about the place. The famous and the not-famous alike are barefoot and everyone leaves everyone in peace. No gawking, not autographs, nothing but a good time in a beautiful country.

We were introduced to Killer Bees on a 1st trip @ the Four Seasons when the proprietor was just down the beach in a tiny hut. The intimate nature allowed for meeting DFW suburb "neighbors" there at same time. A must-do our repeat trip to Nevis 10 years later, it had expanded and added a large flat-screen TV. Sunshine's packed the same "Punch" and laid-back atmosphere, along with a tasty lunch-appetizer menu to allow for safe imbibing. Beware, successive Killer Bees have a way of sneaking up & sting you!

The ceiling is covered with flags, on our Friday afternoon visit the stereo was pumping out seventies and eighties soul classics, somehow every song capturing the word sunshine: You are the Sunshine of My life, Aint no Sunshine etc. Music was great but quite loud, so unlike us, don't try and bring a sleepy baby. We had two pineapple juices, red snapper with salad and a jumbo prawn salad. The snapper was huge, chargrilled, well seasoned with sea salt and pepper and deliciously moist and fresh. Salads were generous with quality ingredients. The food would not have been out of place at the Four Seasons where we stayed down the road but the trouble is neither would the prices. We paid around $65-70 US with tip to a dour waitress who reminded us there was no service included. Our Pineapples juices were in tiny cups and were cheap concentrates not the fresh ones you'd expect for $10 a pop. So go if you are staying at FS and you want a taste of the local vibe and good food gu8ve it a try but don't think you are going to save a lot of money on your usual meal prices.

Sunshine's is a great bar with the classic drink to try, the 'killer bee'. The bar is located right on the beach, the staff are really friendly, and there is a money to hang out with. I cant speak for the food because I didn't eat there but the killer bees alone are worth the trip.

Sunshine's was a cool place for sure. All the pictures of famous people on the walls and ceiling, will keep you there for sure. The food was disappointing. We had lunch, I had a cheeseburger that must have been frozen for a long time, it was bland and blah. The lobster sandwich was plain. Meet Frisky the monkey. Good place to drink, skip the food.

My husband & I strolled down to Sunshine's for lunch from the Four Seasons and stumbled back! So apparently 3 1/2 Killer Bees are my limit - I don't remember much after that! I do remember that the food was delicious! Sunshine himself was there to greet us - wish he would give up that Killer Bee recipe! Our server Pinckey was pleasant and attentive! Hello Pinckey! I still want to move in with you there at Sunshine's! Fresh fish - great drinks - wonderful hosts! Another important point - Killer Bees do not leave you with a hangover! After a little dip in the sea & a short nap we were good to go for dinner and more drinks! One of the highlights of our trip! Don't miss it!!

Walked over from the Four Seasons with a few friends for a late night sample of Killer Bees. We weren't disappointed. It's an open air small island beach bar that captures the spirit of Nevis.Danced and had a good time. Modest prices

Yes, please be careful with the drinks .. they will definitely slowly hit you. Ohh, and dont drink and 4-wheel, or drink and jet ski ... I have scars to prove it. It is a hole in the wall, but excellent food and drinks. It should be franchised, lol.

We dined here for lunch, limin to the local jams and falling in love with the lobster salad. The owner is cool and hospitable. It is a great place to drink and dine. The only drawback was the beach vendors in the restaurant. I would have preferred for them to linger outside. It interrupted our meals to be coerced into buying.
