silmaril sailing

Did full day sail in mid February, best sailing experience we have had in the Virgin Islands. The boat - a wood sloop is simply amazing and beautifully maintained. Unique to the boat are some really neat seating arrangements on the bow and stern of the boat. But equally as interesting are Jason and Lindsay, a husband and wife team. Jason is from South Africa and has sail around the Cape of Good Hope several times, I find this kind of thing fascinating. If you are from Michigan get him to tell you the Rodreguz story (sorry about the spelling). All and all a great day look forward to an over night sail next year.

We love to sail on the Silmaril with Lindsay and Jason. They provide a warm and inviting atmosphere in which to relax and enjoy your surroundings. Their knowledge of the British Virgin Islands and all the best places to go sailing and snorkeling means you always have a unique and fun adventure.

It was such a memorable day! We smile and dance for the 'Weather Gods' everyday for optimal sailing conditions, and most often we have exceptional sailing days, and sometimes we need to improvise. You both have such great spirit and enthusiasm, it made it easy to enjoy a 'motor day'!
