This a new library and technology centre with great service. Private rooms for studying, computers to use and comfortable areas to enjoy a good book. Nice children's area.

Great place to take the kids or sit and relax in the sunlight! Great big windows, comfortable chairs and relaxing environment. Free WIFI. Lots of great reading materials, a computer lab and quiet meeting rooms. Close to a skate park and the Lion's Park which has climbing apparatus and swings. Next door to the arena where there is a gym, pool and squash courts! If you're passing through Fort Frances and looking for a great place to stop to let your kids out of the vehicle to stretch your legs, this is it!

We like to stop at libraries when we travel, and I have to say this is one of the nicest we've seen. Free and FAST wi-fi, lots of comfortable chairs, so a great place to spend some time. I agree this is the best attraction in this town. Of course, the town isn't much to write home about....

Huge building. The tall ceilings could have been used for another floor rather than just empty staff. Most of the staff are friendly and willing to help. Good technical area with room for meetings. Modern and well equipped.

This is a wonderful facility with all the modern conveniences. It is a beautiful building, clean and the staff are wonderful. If you are in Fort Frances, you must visit this library.

I was very impressed by the library, especially the kids area. It was modern and cheerful with toys for younger kids and things in addition to books. My daughter is four and she had a great time. We visit Fort Frances often and try to stop by the library each trip. The preschool story hour is great too. I don't know much at all about the rest of the adult section of the library.

The building is only a few years old and is stunning and quite a showcase! The staff are super friendly and if you are in Fort, you MUST visit here!

Our new library is the product of a community that values learning and that works together to acheive mutual goals. The library is bright and offers various programming for all ages. The furnishings offer a queit place to relax with a good book in comfort or to access a computer to learn even more. Great staff!

The building is really beautiful. There are rooms for small meetings or studying, a bigger conference room with smartboard, a computer lab, an accessiblity area of computers, a children's dept, teen dept and adult dept. My only complaint is that the children's dept does not seem much larger than at the old library. In fact the "play" or "mat" area is smaller. It is already feeling crowded and not much room to expand. I know the point of a library is for books and not necessarily toys, but since there is not much else in Fort Frances in way of a meeting area for parents of young children, the library has always been a hub and it would have been nice to see a larger area set aside. Some community libraries that I have been to have huge carpeted areas, with lots of seating for adults (couches, beanbag chairs), a private nursing room (or cry room), a separate room for crafts (which often go along with storytime programs) and many more interactive stations (puzzles, toys, manipulatives). However, overall, the new library is beautiful - fireplace lounge, nice seating areas in the adult area.

The Fort Frances Public Library Technology Centre is a masterpiece. Set in a lovely small town, near Rainy Lake and offering all the new technology and services of a larger centre. The citizens of Fort Frances did themselves proud with their fund raising efforts to build a facilty of the 21st Century!

Bokks, Computers, and Learning! The Fort Frances Public Library offers TONS of books to read and/or check out! You can also borrow video games or reserve a laptop/desktop computer to use! They offer classes you can take too!

Very Good Library. It's located right beside a big sports centre and a beautiful park. The library is one of the biggest that I've seen. It's newly built. The library inside is stunning and the staff are very friendly. I've never borrowed books from there but on my trip I really enjoyed coming to the library to read a book and unwind.
