We have gone once a year for 16 years...nothing much new as far as products but as photographers we always see new and interesting people. Well worth a look, sit and have a fry while you listen to live music. A must stop on the way to Grand BendSue Thompson
So in our travels today we stopped in to this must stop in antique market. For starters they charge you to park. Not per car but a dollar per person. Not impressed. It a hodgepodge of people trying to sell their old stuff, but no one really wants it.There area few thing there worth the stop, but overall, kind of a waste of time.
We had visited here for the first time. There seemed to be a lot of new items and repetition. Some of the collectible a I saw we're intriguing, but definitely over priced compared to similar Flea Markets I've been to. I did manage to find some good deals. I will go again later in the year to make comparisons. If you just like walking around and looking then it's great.
I have been many times and there's pretty much everything you can imagine a flea market might have. Lots of parking but gets crowded. The downside can be smokers, double baby carriage pushers and lots of dogs (mostly well-behaved)Large indoor area and covered stalls outside.....a great stop if you like that sort of thing... Hot dogs and cold beer!!!!
Any one visiting Grand Bend between May and October Area should stop in on a Sunday between 8am-4pm to this wonderful flea market that's been a hidden treasure here for years. Fun for everybody!!! Great finds, yummy food and cold beer. Julie
Visited on a Sunday afternoon in mid-September (off-season). $1 per adult, kids 12 and under are free. It was sprinkling so we decided to come here instead of go hiking at the Pinery (where we were camping). We enjoyed ourselves wandering around. This was good for a casual activity to while away some time. Very dog friendly - everyone was welcoming and accommodating as we brought our little mini poodle. The kids enjoyed the little playground as we adults enjoyed the live music.
So much to see and do fresh veggies food evert where and you have to buy a moo moo, it was 1.00 a person to get in great dealIt was too hot
Wow, so much you can find here. Open only on Sundays. From fresh foods to cooked foods to books to clothes. Live music is available and a small pub. If you don't check this out, you're only cheating yourself.
Had so much fun here! Incredible selection of everything from second hand market treasures to cool works of Art! Wonderful food stuffs too! European Bakery items that were awesome!Live music and picnic tables for relaxing! It was a very pleasant surprise! Will go again for sure!People were so friendly!
Talk about character! Old cars, fancy motorbikes, musical entertainment and MANY varied vendors selling their crafts, clothing, books, trinkets... you name it the Pinery Flea Market has it. It's a great place to spend a few hours walking around and buying a few things. They have good food their too! Homemade sausage, ice cream, pizza, burgers/fries, baked goods.... The flea market is a fun place to shop!
The Pinery has lots of vendors to shop and is pet friendly too. Fast food, entertainers, antiques, unique items... it is all there. Lots of parking and there is a police directing traffic on really busy week ends. Only open on Sundays. A great way to spend a day strolling through the tall pines trees on a Sunday. Take the dog, there are lots of others with the dogs on leads too.
Our traditional view of antiques/junk sold at flea markets was totally blown out of the water when we arrived at this one. It's a $1 admission to access of rows upon rows of everything you could possibly think of...DVD's, jewelry, produce, antiques, clothes and everything for the home. All of it very reasonably priced. There are no pushy sales people (probably because there are so many people going through that they don't have to be). Plan to be there for an hour or two, and take your time looking at all the finds under the tents.
