Local museum that has national and international exhibits. Friendly reception. Good source of local history.

After you cross the Peace Bridge into Ontario this town is an excellent place to stop to grab a bite. Too bad all of the signage from the street directs one to the fast food joints that dot the highway. Instead get off and head to their main street - which is a solid 10 mins FROM the highway to enjoy the quaint shops and restaurants in their downtown. Too bad the city doesn't do a great job of marketing this from the highway though. Frankly we stumbled upon it b/c we didn't want any fast food and just drove around looking for alternatives. I'm fairly certain most folks won't take the time to do that though.
