assumption park

Recently moved to Windsor from Toronto Ontario and walk to this part of the river nearly everyday with my dogs and fiance.Its a nice place to escape to to walk, rollerblade, bike or just relax on a bench. Interesting sculptures and some history as well. The view of Detroit and the Ambassador bridge is unique also. Lots of fishing is done here too.

Lots of history in the area. Has markers along a trail saying what use to be there.Few items to even checkout.Such as a train locomotive.

The Assumption Park itself is nothing special, the area is of more importance, walk towards the river and the waterfront, bike the trail or better even skate the trail. Clean air, good people, beautiful faces and great view of Detroit skyline.

Great waterfront hike n bike path. Lovely sculptures, wonderful views of Detroit, plenty bathrooms, and a nice spot for fishing.

Всегда использовала этот парк для того, чтобы от души покататься на велосипеде. Хорошие велосипедные дорожки, красивая природа, что еще надо?:)

Этот парк включает в себя прошлое - церковь 1787 года постройки: мрачную и красивую в этой своей мрачности; зеленые территории с черными вездесущими белками, вид на монументальный Мост Амбассадор, соединяющий две страны и на реку, эти страны разделяющую. Гулять можно и час, и два, обойти учебные корпуса или проехаться на велосипеде по парковым дорожкам.
