This is a fantastic golf course with 18 holes - some very challenging to me and some just perfect. The restaurant with a liquor licence when you are finished is the final perfect touch to a wonderful experience with beautiful views where ever you look.

The SGCC boasts one of the most stunning views of any golf course I've been on. Majestic Hudson Bay Mountain towers above the course and the greens and fairways are beautifully maintained. A mixture of hazards utilize the natural environment, including a fish bearing stream that runs through it. Trailer and Campers can find parking for tournement goers and the town of Smithers is a 3 minute drive. The restaurant balcony has the best view of the mountain and the course and you can enjoy lunch or dinner even if you're not playing golf. You can choose to watch the 18th green, the putting green, or the 10th tee box and the food is standard golf club fare with decent prices. No matter your ability, there's something here for every skill level.

Ja, das kann man in Canada - und speziell hier in Smithers sehr gut. Vielleicht hat man vor Jahren mal irgendwo einen Golfkurs gemacht, dann ist es kein Problem ein 9-er oder 18-er Loch zu spielen. Golfschläger kann man mieten und der EIntritt ist nicht teuer.
