valemount museum

This is a very quaint museum. Very good price at $3 a person. a bit off the beaten path but a peaceful place to spend a bit of time. lots of little things to see. grounds have picnic possibilities. I found it a bit musty but it is an older building . The railway display is just plain fun! The young man who was working that night was very polite and tried to answer our questions. I think he will do well going forward in life.

Great place to take a break and see some local BC history, very inexpensive as well. A refurbished Caboose and the museum is the original train station built in 1914. The area has an interesting history and this is the place to learn about it!!

For the story buff, this is a must stop. Nice displays about the area's railway towns and Japanese internment camps. The trapper's cabin is a must see. Lots of history for a tiny village!

Check out this museum when you are in town for local history displays. It has a wonderful train that even runs through the washroom. Lots of local books for sale.

Really enjoyed this museum which has great historical stuff from the Fraser River and Mt. Robson areas and some really great train memorabilia. Good gifts too - nice local artist stuff!

A very well done museum utilizing a railway theme. Lots of unique objects, nicely displayed and presented, friendly staff and nice to see a smaller community supporting this.
