croisieres alouette

We recently enjoyed this tour on Lac de Sables. The autumn colours were FABULOUS and it was great to get up close and be able to photograph the beautiful scenery. The Sunday afternoon we visited both boats were out on the water as the weather was so good. The only watchout was that the commentary was completely in French, although the tour was advertised as bi-lingual - if this is important to you, this is worth checking as you book. If it is gorgeous scenery with autumn colours, then we would recommend this trip now while it is at its peak.

A nice activity with family or in couple, is a short cruise which it takes about 50 mins, and you see the nice view, the nice houses that surround the area, the mountains, the lake, the fresh air.. Very nice scenario for those who loves pictures. The price is good. I recommend it

We took the sunset view cruise. It was $10 per person for about 90 min. They played blues music and served drinks. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the view was amazing. The staff were friendly. If you're on vacation in that area, you should give it a try.

We did not expect anything from the cruise but immidiately were enchanted.The guide was funny and made good comments on the actual history of the Lake des Sables in Ste-Agathe Qc. We were a family of 8 people and even though we were sitting on the edge or in the middle it was possible to get up and see whatever had to be seen. Very relaxing and enjoyable and we did also tasted the maple tea and cookies while enjoying the cruise.The crew was very helpful and informative. We felt very safe and my mother was able to board with her handicap.Pleasant memories...affordable family rates.

I took a trip on this cruise. I could see more from the shore. The seats were 8 wide all down the boat. Not a problem you may say but we were all inside with a cabin roof above us and the small windows were only accessible to the people in the seats directly next to them. I was in the middle, it was too packed to try and move about and I saw nothing. The person commentating was just giving me a list of all the places I couldn't see. A waste of time and money. I was pleased to get off.

sorry but couldnt see out of the windows was stuch right in middle of crowed boat very uncomfortable had my back squashed up against a post paid $17 dollars for a trip that I couldnt wait to end. .

Frankly, we took this cruise on the Croisieres Alouette VI to fill in time between a nice drive though the local countryside to see the fall colours and our planned supper. It was a very nice, comfortable 50 minute cruise on Lac des Sables in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts. Just what we expected. At $17/person it seemed a bit pricey but boats are expensive to run. The scenery was very nice but no different than anywhere else in the area. The boat was a bit dated but safe and comfortable. There was a head (washroom) for those who needed it.The real plus was the captain's commentary. I did not realize the amount of history on this small lake. Lots of famous people owned homes or visited those who did (some famous people still live here). The commentary, in French and English, was very good.I'm glad we took this cruise.
