o'otu beach

O'otu Beach is the best swimming beach on the island! We were lucky to get the entire beach to ourselves. The sand was slightly off-white and very fine - almost to the point where it was like a muddy clay. The shallow turquoise waters were just gorgeous looking! The shoreline dropped off rather quickly and the sheltered waters were great for swimming! Keep an eye out for the hermit crabs that come to visit you!
