Hi Michael, thanks for your great review. So glad Mona liked her first "Adventure" with us too. The weather was great, we took on some great 4WD tracks and we had fun finding gold too. I was pleased you chose a Detour Adventure after just moving to Bathurst as well. You've already seen what many locals haven't. See you again for another great Adventure.

We did some great 4WDing and saw lots of wildlife too, including the Deer on the road out to Kanangra Walls which is not so common. The bushwalking was excellent (I had sore legs the next day) and it was a delight to take you to a couple of my favourite bushwalking spots in the Blue Mountains at the end of your tour. Hi Pat, it was great to have you and Josh along with me. We saw some great things including the old bullock camp dating back to 1888. Amazing stuff. The Australian bush is certainly an amazing place more of us should visit.

Hi Lorna, it was a pleasure taking you and the girls out for the day. I agree, we saw some amazing things while off road on the tracks around the Bathurst / Sofala / Mudgee area. I was pleased to show you some of the early colonial history of our local area too. I know the girls loved seeing the wild the goats, but I was so pleased we saw the Wedge Tailed Eagle soaring so close to the vehicle! Well, thanks very much for such a great review! I enjoyed the tour with you, especially as you'd not been off road in a 4x4 prior to you Detour Adventure. We certainly had a good time, and as Brian said, seeing the winch work (pulling us up a muddy hill) was an added bonus out in the Sunny Corner area. As you hadn't been to Bathurst before, I'm pleased you liked the quick sight seeing tour of the historical buildings and of course Bathurst's very own castle Abercrombie House.
