Lake Wyangan is located a little way out of Griffith, just past the village of the same name. It is like a little Oasis in the hot summer months of the MIA. The lake features a range of water sports, including water skiing, sailing, rowing and canoeing, with sailing and power boats having their own club space at the lake.The lake is family friendly and good for a relaxing small get together or a large family gathering. There are numerous covered picnic areas with BBQs, as well as walking tracks leading to the animal enclosures and a playground for the kids.The Lake itself also has a camp ground for short stays, with some amenities available.Lake Wyangan is well worth the look.

Bought our lunch in town and headed off to eat it at trip advisors number one attraction in Griffith. Disappointing. We should have gone to one of the many beautiful gardens in town. Wasn't worth the trip out here

was a great place 2 unwind n relax.....especially wif da views of da lake and wild life around.....also has plenty of parking space, wonderful views n also bbq area n shelters......

Great place for the family to enjoy a day out. Plenty of nature close to see. Hardly any disturbance. Space for camping as well.

Quite, clean and not to far out of town. Brings a canoe or small boat for fishing etc. not powered from what I observed
